I think this user is confused about configuration -- they likely mean the configuration presented to the end user, like using Sony Vegas you can change project properties to Ipod video dimensions, or 1080p project files and so on.
I agree Holiday quest should be put on hold till the gane is fun. I'm gal Yoshi P noticed that the bells were lame ass, but still get some dam content out.
You'll be ok with content even if it plays with the current setup? You can literally be naked and take the same amount of damage you would clothed lol.
Ya cause if yout HP is 2k and the enemy hits for 2.5k doesn't matter what you have on your dead. its not the gear its the enemy attacks. they hit for 120 and so then they do an insane att thats kilss/ whipes the party. Ya we have all been their. So gear is ok it's the Mobs att thats needs to be fixed
no, it's the gears that never protect youYa cause if yout HP is 2k and the enemy hits for 2.5k doesn't matter what you have on your dead. its not the gear its the enemy attacks. they hit for 120 and so then they do an insane att thats kilss/ whipes the party. Ya we have all been their. So gear is ok it's the Mobs att thats needs to be fixed
LOL, I alway told people about this but no one believe me, they keep repairing their gears like it's a very big deal
I only repair my weapon
Wow i thought this Peregrine lady was supposed to be FFXIV's biggest fan. She is all up in my grill every time I slander FFXIV. And just look at her signature. That's dedication.
When peregrine is upset, someting must be wrong.
BTW, Im pretty sure gear matters.
yes, gear matters if it has +HP/MP bonus
I am its biggest fan, but this is a poor decision from every angle and it makes the game look poor in relation to other games out there. My immediate reaction to this is: Rift gets quests and raids and NMs at launch that surpass what XIV has at month 6, and what XIV gets as a response to getting its ass kicked HARD by an upstart company...is another holiday event. Really??? Come ON I just want to grab them and SHAKE them sometimes.
It's better to say NOTHING than to look like you're still pumping out the problem. That the game's content consists of mostly exactly this update--pointless trifling, is part of the new problem. Those quests were a waste of EVERYONE's time. Just straight waste. Pointless to code and develop. Uselss as gameplay. Holiday after holiday event is the same crappy content. It's embarassing to release these events when the game is in this much trouble.
I don't want to see another trifling patch, let alone another trifling content addition until they bring something home worth player attention. It's bad publicity when they announce that the majority of their patch notes involve obscure and silly things while glaring errors still exist, Epiphany doesn't work, raise doesn't have an animation, and there are no horsebirds.
Then to announce that...well instead of companies and new battle engine what's next? HOLIDAY TIME AGAIN!
No. It's not holiday time. It's work time.
If anyone is still out there who wonders if I'm saying that NO holiday is better than A holiday...yes. That is exactly what I'm saying. Holidays are mistake events right now even if they don't delay real content. It looks bad. It's expensive corporate parties while they're taking bailout money. Sends a bad image. Emphasizes the wrong messages. It looks like SE just doesn't have a clue how to fix the game, because whether it's true or not the 18 pathetic quests and yet another holiday event LOOKS LIKE the only thing Square Enix has DONE over the past few months as far as the player-end goes. As such, it LOOKS LIKE their primary response to all the criticism.
And as such, it's better they just didn't say anything or do anything rather than release content like this that makes them look like they're still decadent, out of touch, and clueless as to how to fix the game.
Everything they say from here on out needs to be moving towards a solution. I don't want to hear about a patch full of making sure you don't eat and craft at the same time. I've never seen that glitch. I've never heard of that glitch. That glitch should have never even happened. I don't care if it's fixed. Raise doesn't have an animation. It looks like SE would rather fix obscure rare glitches than address huge, glaring problems.
From here on out, every stupid, pointless, trifling addition they add to the game they mention HURTS them until they start fixing things that make people HAPPY they're fixed.
Don't freaking tell me an instance by which a crafter in a ward with a specific hammer facing west, while it's umbral weather in Mor Dhona, while trying to eat, and hitting the draw weapon button causes a crash was fixed. I do not care. Stop fixing that **** and repair ancient magic in SOME way.
