You have my support on this.

Although I believe (totally speculating here so bare with me) that one of the """"excuses"""" SE can have against this is that they probably think that to make 2 translation versions, (Spain Spanish and Latin American Spanish) might be a lot of "unrewarding" work.

I know that people are already used to the English translation this game has. It is actually a rather odd/funny/curious translation. "Profanity" words such as "Confound it!" is quite odd to say the least in American English. It does exist, but, I've never seen a person in normal circumstances saying it. Honestly, I have not a clue who was in charge of those texts. I know there are people that like, for instance, how Urianger character talks, but in my ears he sounds like a wannabe Shakespeare. (No offense, Urianger bro :3) Just my point of view. That being said, I don't want a Cervantes-ish Urianger xD. But I know is hard to get in a middle ground.

With that English adaptation in mind, Spain and Latin America are their own cultures nowadays, so separated that we can discern a person from Spain and from Latin America. So they probably will have to hire 2 adaptation teams. Because I am quite sure many LA users would feel awkward reading all expressions and mannerisms that the Spanish of Spain has. Just as many games we played in that format when we had not a choice but to read it in English or Spain Spanish. Is extremely odd but bearable. I am sure many Spanish speakers might agree on both sides. Hearing words like "Coger" ("pick up" in Spain Spanish / usually to "f**k someone" in LA Spanish) and "Zapatillas" ("sneakers" in Spain Spanish / "high heel shoes" in LA Spanish) have way different connotations in LA Spanish, to make a vague example.

Recently companies like Nintendo and others are doing a great job bringing LA Spanish adaptations to their games. But is fair to say that many of those are part of the original development plan already. To translate and adapt in to Spanish versions 11 years worth of texts of all expansions is a titanic job and is well worth it taking in mind how big is the Spanish speaking demography. But, SE might feel it financially worthy?

I believe that a good incentive to SE is to make the adaptation but sell it as an add-on. I know we already pay enough, but it might be a good way for both sides to have what we want.
