There's (at least) one player in this screenshot who has the ability to turn that amount of PF entries from 0 to 1.
Alternatively just wait for SE to eventually add this card to an NPC, like they generally do.
Are you talking about me not getting the Menphina card in over 10+ run of Euphrosyne? I still remember that one time I rolled a 96 and a 90 and didn't get either card. This is one of my biggest irritations with most of the recent TT cards. Why the eff do we not get them from playing the minigame? I am much more interested in putting the cards I get to good use, building a good deck, and outsmarting an otter over 100 times than just getting lucky on some RNG drop.
I would be really happy if they added more npc to earn cards from, instead of just putting them in content/gold saucer vendor. Also, they should make npcs' decks follow the same rules our deck must follow, farming some npcs gave me ptsd

See those two 5 stars in an NPC deck and I know some bs is about to go down. Are you talking about me not getting the Menphina card in over 10+ run of Euphrosyne? I still remember that one time I rolled a 96 and a 90 and didn't get either card.

I would definitely like more NPCs to play and maybe even deviate from VIII Triple Triad and come up with some new rules. Then we would have a reason to have more decks. As is I have the basic one, a reverse one, and an ascension one and never need anything else. The basic is set up well for same/plus so I don't need a separate deck for that. Most of the cards I'm collecting don't even get used which is sad to me as a huge TT fan.
The cards from Heaven on High were added to NPC triple triad matches in patch 4.5. The card from Eureka Orthos was not added to an NPC in 6.5. Hopefully this bit of thread necromancy will remind the devs about this card, and encourage them to consider adding an NPC we can get this card from, as Eureka Orthos is... not quite dead but the family has been called to the bedside because it won't be long now.
If you want the card, have you tried solo? Orthos is actually quite simple once you know what the mobs do. You can do 21-40 in like an hour (depending on aetherpool/experience in DD) and get like 2 to 5 attempts at the card. The cards from Heaven on High were added to NPC triple triad matches in patch 4.5. There's legit less than a handful of mobs that you would need to be aware of and the floor 40 boss. Rest is super simple and can just react to telegraphs.
Doing it as machinist/red mage or warrior are solid easier jobs to do it with.
Or even just doing it with 2 or 3 people is also simple. You don't need 4 people to run it. In a lot of cases it's actually easier with less people.

I'm still waiting for Varient dungeon cards to be added. I gave up on the cards for the 1st 2 Varients because my luck was awful and I'm still missing the Secret Boss card from Aloho Island.

[leans in and whispers]
If you could do Eureka Pagos through Hydatos, which is a significantly larger time/energy grind
You can do Eureka Orthos
31-40 is not hard, even solo. 'But all it takes is one mistake' this is the easiest deep dungeon they've released because it's not about dealing with pulling enemies with auto attacks that can kill you in 3-4 hits if you aren't high enough aetherpool or kiting/managing your sustain potions, it's straight up mechanical knowledge of enemies from hard casts to visual tells, including sight/sound/proxy aggro knowledge. How do you get that knowledge? Either take the easy road out and read any of the extensive floor breakdown guides, or learn it by experiencing it.
The amount of mobs in orthos who are solo-possible without a boatload of difficulty, especially in the first 10 floors post 21-30, is enormous. The only real 'threats' at that level are the patroling Orthorays and the Orthochimera. If you are just card grinding you farm pommanders in 21-30 and can blow them all in your 31-40 run to maximize hoard drops and easy floor clears. Full stack of intuition = 3 sacks usually across the 10 floors; you can get up to 5 if you get a lucky floor layout with hoard and extra intuition poms throughout the climb. Hells, if you're ballsy enough to hit a Dread Beast (something usually avoided solo) and immediately storm pom it you get another sack.
I got the card in my first batch of silvers from that tier on release night of Orthos with a trio. Straight up lucky, yeah, but it has a high% drop from the sacks comparable to some EX or even NPC drops. Meanwhile one of the SB NPCs prior to them adjusting drop rates took 200+ wins (yes, it was the damn otter).
tl;dr this content is never dead because it's designed for solo not just parties, and if you could farm an EX up to 100 times for a card drop you sure as hell can farm a deep dungeon.

I'm grateful for all the tips and encouragement for farming Eureka Orthos. However, I have cleared the relevant floors many times. Sometimes solo as well (although I prefer doing it with a group- tanky monsters with one instant kill mechanic and no threat besides that are very tedious, so multiple people helps them die quicker and boring fights are better if they are quick). I've lost count of how many silver tinged sacks I've appraised only to find more grade X materia that isn't even worth gil anymore. If I'd kept those I'd have enough to make a ball pit now.
I have 422 triple triad cards. I'm just missing this one, one of the FF protagonist cards and the "get 423 cards" achievement one. Grinding this one out has taken more time and energy than any of the others. Anecdotally I've heard that this card is a high drop rate and some of the NPC ones take ages to get, but my experience is the exact opposite of that. Even the trial ones dropped more quickly (but I know I probably got lucky with Varis, based on how many people I see talk about that one). That is the nature of RNG, it's probably been quite kind to me overall but here it's not.
So yes, I know I can farm a deep dungeon, I've been doing it for an amount of time that is bordering on soul destroying. I only posted here to point out that based on the precedent with the Heaven on High cards being made available from an NPC, the Orthos card should have followed suit by now.

Collecting all the TT cards forces you to engage in almost every facet of the game. This is just another one of those. The players that have all of the cards have touched almost every aspect of the game. I fully expect that Beastmaster will have a card locked behind it too.
If there's one thing I wished they would change are the TT drops from 24-man dungeons. They should make those like untradeable minions where you can't lot on it if you already have it. But change it to Greed-only for those that already have it. And Need otherwise. It apparently is too much to ask the playerbase to respect Need before Greed. But that's how it is.
They should've either put it in the bronze sacks, put it in the cube vendor or added a damn NPC in 6.5. None of the prior DD's required you to do the premade floors for their cards, and even they got TT NPCs. It doesn't matter how "easy" EO is, the problem is that there is no alternative source to get it.
As it is now, my final cope is that they put this card in a moogle event.
