    Unless it is minor, inexpensive and easy to keep up, any form of refresh is going to overshadow the other things your class/job brings. I like the focus on enfeebling, though. Takes me back to how Necromancers in Lineage II played.

    Now Necromancer can go 2 ways. If Necromancer starts as a Class it be its own thing that it Job can be Lich! But i won't delve into that. Now IF Necromancer was a Job it can branch literally off of either Cnj or Thm. Seeing as Necromancer can be the polar opposite of Cnj or just a deeper darker teaching of Thm. (psst another quick note that Necromancer is actually a branch off of Thm which is blood magic based!)
    This would be very possible...had the devs not abandoned THM's roots and given it elemental magic and toned back on the light and dark thing. THM in storyline are one thing, but gameplay-wise they are another. It sucks because I think the idea is great and would fit the darker tone of XIV's world.

    * The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.

    well if it works the way Sacrifice use to then it would fine. BUT abuse would make the Nec run outta mp itself to fast. That way we dont have Necs getting the old 11 Rdm refresh shaft. It'll be more for "Oh S**T!! THE TANK OR WHM IS ALMOST OUT OF MP!!!! HERE TAKE MINE!!!" or if the trigger happy Black mage blows through their mp we can toss one their way. That way Brd isnt outshined either.

    Oh and Please SE please dont make Pet jobs like Summoner and Necro (when you add it =) )cost MP to keep it out just make it 1 massive mp drain and it stays out till it dies! that way we can focus on gear that makes the Summon stronger rather than finding gear to keep it out weaking the Job imo! Please with sugar lumps on top!

    I still think the bigger concern is that the one opening in lore to support necromancer as a job was kinda taken away. Gameplay-wise I can't think of a way to make THM branch into BLM and Necromancer without major changes to THM.

    but thats the point of Nec its a dark class. and im sure that that SE could figures something. Hell They could just add a small npc that hides in the THM or Cnj guilds that like "How would you lie to Transcend this mere elemental/healing magic for something more ....How Shall i say it? Pleasurable?" with that they could just say screw to Thm and Cnj quest lines. honestly i never did do the quest fr Thm or Cnj so i have no clue what they are.

    Thank you. Though that was just more for the casting purpose. But id trade the dmg output of Spells for a pet. This game NEEDS pets just besides Bst and Smn ( hopfully Pup to)
