Sena Bryer is right: the hatred that Smile gets is highly problematic

Something having a choir doesn’t make it gospel. The point of Sena’s post was to try and moral grandstand over the community and come up with excuses as to why someone dislikes a song - other than the obvious: it’s a bad song. It’s pitchy, it’s generic, and it’s introduced at a strange time. Even used correctly, I think sonically it’s a bad song, and that has nothing to do with being a “certain type of gamer.” She knew what she was doing; stop making excuses for her.

Smile is good-ish. There is worse music in the game that people applaud with both hands and feet, but the Train building scene was the wrong moment to use it. Which was funny. I get that they wanted it to display the unity of Tural as people of all nations help to build this passageway towards this newfound threat, but... It feels odd. It is the same, to a degree, in Kholusia with the 'build giant golem' stuff, but there was no song there and both scenarios were equally forgettable, so. Odd placement. Probably Smile would fit better as a credits song only and not used for the Coronation of Wuk Lamat or Train Scene.

No, she's unstable HC, she's too attached to a character she played once, and she is lashing out trying to hit back at people with valid artistic complaints.

I would welcome all game companies to investigate this VA's social media feeds and decide if "hot takes", the bad sportsmanship, the extreme fringes like the Firebrand VA, and IP infringement are what you want for your game.

I would also welcome Kate to get in touch with Sena, and tell her to pull her head in before she creates any more drama.

Big problem for Smile - position as Credit and enidng song. Remember WHAT was before at credits - dragonsong, heavensward, revolution, answers, tomorrow and tomorrow, flow. The competition just blows Smile away like a train
