I retweeted Sena's absurd comments and tagged the SquareEnix account. The fandom deserves better of the leading performer of this expansion, and she should be held to higher standards of comporting herself if she wants big roles.

I genuinely wonder what Japanese companies actually look at when English employees do stuff. A few VAs from another game series have been genuinely awful lately and not a peep from the company about it. You would think they would want to be able to see what's going on with the people that represent your brand.

The Japanese side is being censored, I think. If you try to look up Sweet Baby Inc, you just end up finding a lot of posts that no longer exist. It doesn't look good, but it could be something else like being unrelated to the topic, but you'd think the involvement of SBI would affect the story quests and what not. Everything we've seen so far, really points in one direction. Might be that Kate has gone mad with power and this is what we got, or it could be that FFXIV did have involvement with SBI, or it could be both. Lots of actions we've seen points in that direction. This is probably going to really piss people off. If you don't agree with the cult, you're punished. The cult will also remove anything that makes it look bad.

Asian company don't really know what's going on most of the time. The Mecha Break had the word "Trump" censored by their consulting firm, and they didn't know but had to go back to fix it. Westerners are invading into the Asian Market and pushing their actvisim, and since Asian countries don't really speak English then they don't know what's going on.

I have a feeling she probably won't be getting any more role big or small in the future based on her recent behavior in the last month or so on twitter because it be a pr nightmare for any company to associate with her. And it seems she was only hired for being friends with Kate and the right people to get the job I wonder if sena does get let go if it will backfire on Kate as well.

Regardless of your thoughts there, please keep this on-topic and focus on the things we can all agree are unacceptable.

I'm not trying to shut you out of this discussion or saying you're wrong. I'm not commenting on your position at all.

We're better served by pointing out Sena's aggressive, rude, and divisive behavior, as well as the behavior of associated persons. Letting this derail that direction keeps anything productive from happening.

Does anyone remember several years back when ArenaNet fired Jessica Price over some tweets where she was being just a garbage person?

She tried to make it about women's rights and standing up to being silenced, and a chunk of the internet rallied to her, it raised a stink for a couple weeks, but most people agreed that she got fired for attacking the community.

The same things needs to happen to Sena. It might raise a stink for a couple weeks, but in the long run it will be good for the game and the community, and we can all move on from this unpleasantness.

Has anyone tried contacting SE about this? Sena made a post today about being harassed by someone using their email to sign up for a bunch of right wing newsletters, but they can make an incorrect blanket statement about the fandom and that’s just…fine? How can someone be so out of touch with reality?

“Rules for thee but not for me” has never been more evident, and I don’t think it’s fair to pay these people for a subpar performance in a lead role and then have them take swings at the community who pays their bills.
