Only if they unlock adventuring artifact gear so other adventurers and crafters and gatherers can use those looks on their classes.

Honestly, I just had an idea, I'm not even sure if technically it could work, but why not make it so putting stuff in the glamour dresser negates all restrictions, essentially turning all gear inside to function similarly to Lv1 unrestricted gear....It'd save space from accessories that have literally the same model but different roles.

As I said in the bigger thread
ALL gear should be universally glammable, YES including artifact gear of all shapes and sizes.
So what if the drachen set is distinguishable as a dragoon only? What if I just want to use the drachen greaves huh? Same for literally everything else
if you earned the gear, and have a job that can equip it, let us glam it to whatever we want
There hasn't been job distinction identity for years and years of crafted level 1 universal glam gear and swimsuits

I don't think that's the problem they are referring to. I think it's not being able to glam each craft/gather to their corresponding AF gear?

They disallow this because its a time sink. A time sink for you is a profit for them. This gathering/crafting gear which is locked is endgame gear (or it used to be) so its implemented in a manner that takes forever for you to obtain and be happy with it. SE is now conflicted as one half of the forum rages about job identity while the other half of the community wants to be "cross dressers" and throw job identity out the window (appearance-wise). So, you see, they're damned if they do allow it, and damned if they don't. Now what? Since "does this immediately make me a profit?" is their motto....

The only reason I can really think of why this hasn't been done is simply condensed into the old style notion of "A Job's Identity."

"You're a chef? You should be wearing big hats and gloves and aprons then." "You're a Blacksmith/Armorer? You should be wearing big boots, big gloves, something that covers the eyes or whole head, and an apron." and so on and so forth.

The new Blacksmith exclusive top for example is just a simple chest wrap, but I am sure that A LOT of people would love to use it on combat jobs and other crafters. But we pretty much know it's forever gonna be a Blacksmith exclusive Top unless they magically release an all jobs version of it or finally decide to drop the whole "Job identity" mindset that has been dead for years at this point, and I doubt either will happen anytime soon.

I can understand WHY they keep doing the whole "job exclusive" sets, but it really is just not needed anymore.

I would be all for them locking the AF gear for each crafter/gatherer behind an expert recipe, give it 5 slots and make it unsellable.

Guess we have to point them out to all the Kappa, Mica, Chicken and Pig glamoured people. They're obviously playing the game wrong and destroying the job/class identities.

Job/Class identity is a moot point if you ask me.

They themselves have already thrown this out the window several times, and still continue to do such.
