As much as I do think this raid tier has weaker dps check I don’t want to have the same situation as top on release being a bug riddled piece of s fight were if you didn’t play the best comp you were stuck on n beetle enrage because the dps check was this bull shit (and crit variety was actually something you felt same as week 1 P8s without the god comps) . I really didn’t enjoy potting for beetle phase all the time even in prog. Like dsr wasn’t this bad dps check wise ( still buggy as hell) and is regarded as the best ultimate by a lot of pepes.
I do think mechs should be the most hardest challenge about a fight and not a super bullshit dps check that punishes you for not bringing the best comp and try to play triple range and other stuff.

For the love of... you are worried about savage being undertuned when people are stuck unable to get PFs filled because DC travel is hosed? Not every person in the universe wants another p8s experience, let alone another p12s lion prog hell experience every day because of a mountain of body checks. The entire thing is tuned perfectly fine for a first tier and if it got cleared faster than normal, GREAT! When they finally realize they need to do different tiers of the raid series to handle mid and hardcore audiences, I got no problem with saying this is undertuned. But unfortunately, they DO NOT HAVE THAT!

M1S reclear: 30 mins in my first party
M2S : at least 60 wipes across multiple parties, lots of enrage at 1.4%, 3%, if pheromones 1 didn't exist, or was just less random, I would probably have cleared by now. This just has to be the worst mechanic I've ever experienced, no boss with a dps check this strict should have a mechanic with this much randomness associated with it.
Honestly? I don’t mind it being a “fast prog”
The fights are fun at the end of the day. So many people burnt out in Abyssos and Anabaesios, myself included, since it was just a *slog* to prog and reclear every week.
I’d much rather have fun, fast paced and fast prog fights than long, drawn out fights with body checks after seemingly every mechanic.
The only thing I do agree with is that the DPS check is too lenient. Not saying I want it super strict like Abyssos but people clearing with *minutes* to spare after 5+ deaths on week 1 is just a little much lol.

DPS checks are too lenient maybe for world first players but your average savage player not so much. Its going to take a few more weeks before PF reclears don't take so long so mistakes can be made up by gear. I never seen reclears in week 2 take this long. I think it has to do with more difficult mechanics than anything.
I am a very bad player admittedly, but I thought M1S was very challenging but fun. Still progging M2S.
Sorry to hear it's apparently not as fun as past ones, just, well, it took me like 6 different clear parties before one got through the enrage. I suppose I am kind of amazed you're all having such an easy time of it...
Also, unrelated, but in my opinion Abyssos and Anabaseios were dogshit. In Abyssos, the first three fights were a complete joke DPS check wise, and in P7S' case, mechanics wise.. you could die 50 times in P6S and on a clean run you were definitely skipping Chachexia 2 on week 1. It was just P8S in specific that was messed up, and ONLY that fight.
Anabaseios had absolutely no DPS checks anywhere and you skipped mechanics all over the tier, the issue is that there were bodychecks all over it. Most of my friends hated this tier or flat out didn't do it because they thought the bodychecks were boring and made them unfun to prog.
I honestly dunno what they can do though. I think they're too scared to try a proper DPS check ever since the P8S incident. That said though, I still think this is the best raid tier since Eden content.
Anabaseios was dogshit because every single turn has MULTIPLE body checks that punished the entire group for 1 person being a pixel out of position.
