She had the entirety 7.0 to grow with the most screen time and dialogue. If a character cannot grow or endear itself to the audience in that amount of time with that amount of focus, the writers utterly failed.
Tbf, Elidibus was a recurring character from ARR and met us differently from a typical ascian, heck he even wore white robees which was different from the black/purpleish violt robe regular ascians wear.

That is true, but until the end of SHB he was nothing but the stereotypical scheming villain. And then came the waterworks.
Maybe we don't do that and just demand that more thought gets put into the script. This has been probably mentioned often enough, but the whole Expansion felt like a first draft with no rewrites. There were plenty of decent ideas, but the execution was just awful and they didn't have to be with another pair of eyes reviewing the script.
Okay but hear me out, what if in 7.1 WUK LAMAT was BETRAYED and TRAPPED in the HYPERBOLIC TIME CHAMBER
Formerly Baby Chuck

How about Otis then? We met him at like 99. You can't tell me 20 HOURS of scenes isn't long enough to endear an audience to a character when people like Honey B. Lovely more than Wuk Lamat. And most of the 10 minutes we spend with her she's trying to kill us for ratings!
The issue wasn't time. The issue was poor writing.
People sure are insistent on being weird about all this over a month after launch.
It's one character, move on. Normal people don't obsess like this and shout to everyone who walks by about it.
