Great DC Travel System BTW

I am currently trapped in the queue for DC travel, it kicks me out and closes the game over and over, it just puts me back into the queue when I open the game again, and I can't cancel it. My game is inoperable. Please fix.

EDIT: This is on EU.

Same. Now I'm trying to return home and I've been stuck on the timer screen while the game has force closed 5 times

Europe here, it's a disaster. Met some great people right before Dawntrail on the other datacenter, formed a little group split down the middle between Chaos and Light. Then they announce we're basically not gonna be able to do content together for the first 4 weeks. Okay, fine. Now they "lift the lock" but made it so much worse. My group planned maps with the release and it seriously took an HOUR to try and figure out where we'd go because changing datacenters to restock maps just isn't going to cut it. And this was on Omega, a world that's not even known to be filled to the brim. A world that had a "queue" of 23 while it was kicking the others out over being "congested."

Now we're not sure if we're going to be able to properly do synced content together at all, because adding upwards of an hour just to be able to coexist is genuinely awful.

This is probably their solution to try and keep PF localized within datacenters again to hopefully avoid actually having to solve the "universal PF" problem and sure, it's working to an extent, but this is coming YEARS too late, when many people have formed cross-dc connections. I've been incredibly happy with the expansion, story aside, but this is genuinely giving me cause to unsubscribe because at this point I might as well go play a game with them that *does* let me play with them.

I'm pretty sure their servers have crashed, I've been stuck in an inifite queue with no estimated travel time for 45 minutes, it keeps crashing and putting me back in the queue when I log in. And I'm going to DYNAMIS.

I run a cross DC savage static, and this is making so where we can't raid day 1, possibly even week 1. We raid on primal typically, and so it's not like we were going the raid hub, IE: Aether. This is untenable

Thank you SE for giving me a 27 minute world transfer queue that I can't cancel to return to Aether for a sub 30 second login.

Your system for cross server play is beyond ass.

This is what you're met with if you try to transfer to any other DC but dynamis.


This is all a really pathetic bid to get metrics up for dynamis logins.

How did WoW have this issue solved almost 10 years ago and SE still shits the bed.

If the server transfer cant be done and congested why not let us not do a request? or if in a request, let us cancel? let me play my other characters plz, not the one locked in the server transfer.

also I thought all the warnings said going to OCE/ Bismarck was supposed to be fine, it worked fine since DT released, why is it broke now?

Maybe SE servers cant handle savage release so close to new expansion? i doono but this is the first time I was stuck like this. Least have a way to cancel requests so we are not stuck, or block server requests if it is overwhelmed.

Dynamis needs to thrive too. It can't be Aether dominating. We need the populations spread out more.
