I was suspended for telling truth so believe me your definitely not aloneI keep getting hate reported because people hate facts.(glad to see others agree with me so know you are appreciated)
Anyways, I would like her to just sit on her thrones from now on in future patches and expansions. She isnt needed anymore. We can move onto new and exciting things now by ourself. We toured the whole land so we can get on fine without a guide. Maybe even some beach time and an actual vacation.
Puerto Ricans are Americans though, and for what it's worth Cahciua's VA is actually from the UK (which makes her an exception, since the vast majority of the Turali characters are indeed voiced by Americans with Latino roots much like how the majority of the characters in Thavnair were voiced by Brits of Indian or Iranian descent).
I'm late to this thread but just wanted to say it isn't just Wuk Lamat, her VA is fine and sounds good in other things. The entire VA English direction this xpac was poor. Flat lines and fake yelling. The fault lies with the English VA director.
I watched the line delivery on the Gernan dubs and it was a completely different experience. Emotion was put into the right moments, yelling was as real as they could make it, I mean they just nailed it.
Whoever directed the English VAs, please have them take lessons from the German director or switch them out for a different director.
Video games can no longer get away with such poor VA direction when the competition is so strong.
Wuk Lamat's voice was pretty good, but the VA direction was pretty rough this expansion. There's a lot of stuff that sounds flat compared to earlier moments where the emotion does get conveyed, and there's some audio mixing issues where some voices feel like they're coming through the phone or a bad microphone.
I think you'd be surprised how much of the so-called "transphobia" you're seeing comes from people without a hateful bone in their bodies. By your standards, what even does that word mean? What constitutes "transphobia" to you?
I dunno dude maybe when you refer to a trans woman as a man that is, in fact, transphobia. But you clearly already know that, your bones might not have any hate them in, but the words you're saying sure do and I'm pretty sure that was your intent.Unfortunately for you, the issue with Llammatea's voice is that the actor they chose was horrifically miscast and will invariably lead to impressions including but not limited to "This is just a guy with a bad accent", "This sounds uncanny as all hell", and "What were they thinking."
You're kidding yourself if you think we can't tell, by the way. It just is what it is. Your guilt tripping over people rightfully being extremely dissatisfied with the garbage performance of the garbage VA they chose for this yet even more garbage character(in a game that we pay for, not to mention this person's conduct on X) isn't doing you Llammatea/bryer meatriders any favors. I wasn't aware being "decent human beings" entailed making near-essays expressing this sheer cope that not everyone sees things in the way that you do. I think some of us will give "being decent human beings" a pass.
Also the Japanese VA is better anyway. :^)
And I think she did a poor job, too, for the record. But that's no reason to be a transphobic turd about it.
People these days get offended easily. What's worse, they're actively looking to be offended.(agreeing with you by the way.)
Y'know, I never thought I'd see the day that the MMO I've enjoyed since I was a kid would have this subject matter enter the discourse and completely ruin all discussion relating to an objectively garbage performance in an expansion with mixed reception.
Can't diss Poochie in-game, or you're a this-phobe, that-phobe, those-ist who is full of hate and going mask-off. Nobody can even politely disagree here without getting aggression from reddit-tier buzzword users. You couldn't BEGIN to approach saying things like you did in-game without being mass reported and surely losing your account (assuming you were penalized before for a similar complete non-issue). We can't have nice things. 13 years without this crap was a nice long run, I guess.
They read a few paragraphes on wiki and add some fancy self-diagnosed disorders in their profile. They engage in conversation on the internet with aggression, then pull out victim card and play the oppressed whenever they meet disagreements or pushback. They come up with new buzzwords everyday just to tell people how the society has failed them, so they can guilt trip others with all the virtue signaling.
It truely is intoxicating when you know you can get all the support in the world if you have a way to wrap all of your actions, no matter how malevolent, with ribbon of righteousness.
You don't want to oppose love, peace, and acceptance, do you? You're a villain if you do, and a villian deserves retribution. You're saying you're not discriminatory nor hateful? You think you aren't, but you are. You know why? becaue ....insert ten thousand buzzwords
In case anyone eager to throw labels at me. This isn't about gender identity. It applies to many issues rampaging on social media, especially Tik Tok.

Sometimes I forget some people gets their dopamine shots by trying to appear morally better than others online, and each time I'm reminded, I can't help but to roll my eyes.
But putting that aside for a moment, there's some questions that has been on my mind for a while and, to add context to the thoughts, I'll bring back the VA's tweet that has been shown before:
She recognizes her shortcomings by saying that exertion sounds not in their assigned gender are difficult.
Could it be that gender has nothing with said limitations and there's something in a more innate level?
Can doctors magically deny basic intrinsic capabilities such as tonal range when they observe something when a human being is born?
I guess it's also phobic to point those limitations? Where does that put the VA herself?
The line seems rather vague, so I want to make sure.
