We really should be able to glamour other jobs' sets

Basic Gear yes we should Glamour the basic Gear from other Jobs, Artifact Gear? No that should stay Job Unique.

While that may be true, Artifact Gear is something special designed for a singular job only, and its okay for that to be job locked imho.
Anything outside of AF, however, should be available for everyone. There are some awesome glams that could be done if you were able to mix and match, like some NPCs already do.

Though arguably, some bard AF gear is perfectly fitting for mages since it's pretty much what the mages in multiple ff games were dressed in. Most notably FF6.

I mean people could mix and match AF gear too. Maybe a pair of boots from a job set would look good on another job. I think the ARR bard set kinda fits the pictomancer aesthetic rather well. Honestly I don't really buy the "AF gear should still be locked because it's a job's identity" when it ends up not getting used all that much for glamour. Free it. Let it see the light of day and be loved by jobs it wasn't made for.

The starter top for Picto was an Aiming tabard… which unfortunately doesn’t dye, even the level 89 version that I’ve already done the caster role quests for to be able to dye every other 89 set!

And I want to use the new DNC boots on everything… AST and PCT especially… I was willing to compromise on keeping AF restricted if everything else was fair game, but this expansion gave us so many pieces that would be great to mix and match. So I’m definitely wavering on that!

I mean, if you think about it, our WoL can be all the jobs… and all those outfits are in her closet!

I wouldn't mind either way if AF gear could be cross glammed or not. I can see arguements for both sides on that one.

Non artifact gear however, outside of technical imitations has no excuse.

Speaking of Glamours , rn id be happy just to able to store glamours, The limit of the glam dresser should be exactly the number of all items in the game.
Say what you like about World of Warcraft, but I wish ff14 had a glam system similar to wow transmog system.
But for a quick fix i'd be just happy with Sq increasing the glam dresser size.

Yeah it'd be great if they just copied the glamour system and the account wide glamour unlocks.
