[Feedback] Wuk Lamat's English Voice

I feel like the softness of the Wuk's tone is very fitting. My personal note, I would like to hear some furious vocals during times of extreme anger for her character. Other than that, while I'm currently watching the wife play further in the story, I have zero complaints

Wuk Lamat getting crushed by a murderous super bot that weights 50 tons and wants to kill her and everyone around her. Straining herself to hold the robot's arm up, she prepares to fight it to the death, despite her conflicted feelings.
"Ah yes, a soft tone is very fitting for this scene! This delivery is very fitting!"

Try to speak while deadlifting near your max, and tell me if your voice comes out like that. And I'm not even going into the emotional load of the scene (which isn't meant to be anger, more like despair... I think? I don't even know what emotion that scene is trying to convey, to be honest).
That's just one of the examples where the delivery is really awful.

Well american education doesn't produce 2 world wars and the myriad of similar events europe has been involved in since the 16th century. WW1 and WW2 are just the beginning of europe's utterly shameful history.

The fact that the voice actress is american is a great asset to xiv; the snotty sounding english/uk voice acting is the main reason I switched to japanese voice acting in A Realm Reborn and it's stayed that way until Dawntrail.

But to ge back to the Topic, Sena Fails at her own Demands of "that Characters should only be voiced by a fitting Voice Actor so Trans character only be voice by Trans people" what i would support honestly.
But the other side of the Coin would be that Trans people cant Voice how is the term again? "Cis People or Gay Men and females" aka not Trans Characters, should only be Voice by Said people, or is it a "Rules for thee but not for me" kinda deal?

Chiwa Saitô's scream of anguish in episode 10 of Madoka is still, to me personally, some of the best VAing I've heard in my life. There are a ton of very talented JP VAs (either gender) with incredible range.

Joke's on you, I prefer japanese voice acting in xiv to the english voice acting. The point of bringing up 5 year old screams is to show the difference between cultures and voice acting approach. My client's voice language has been in japanese since A Realm Reborn for a reason.

Good try trying to pin europe's atrocious history on me though. History can't be changed and europe's is the worst history out of any continent.

I mean at this point you are obv trolling or looking for problems.

Beside the obv reason that men and women sound differently, thats not what the quote states.

The one you quoting (atleast what you quoting) states:
IF you demand people to be a certain way to get a specific role, you should not break the rule yourself.

So if a transperson states that trans-charakters should be voiced by a trans-VA, than the transperson should obv not voice non-transpeople.
Which means that the VA voicing Wuk Lamat is a hyprocrit in their own demands.

And this is a legit argument that you can bring against the VA or other people here that try to defend the VA.
