I think you got too complacent with ARR-EW content, thinking everything should be done with a single pull or a single run. If a wipe or a death is enough to discourage you from a piece of content, then I don't think your ready for life in general.
You fail, you learn, you fail, you learn again, and eventually you succeed. That's how life is and thats how DT dungeons, trials, and raids are made. Yes, they are using unconventional telegraphs and new mechanics, but guess what, how do you think people who pass it on roulettes are able to without wiping? because they learned from their deaths and mistakes
Maybe, instead of getting frustrated on the Honey B fight because you died, learn why you died, why you made that mistake and died, and not do it again next time. Its not hard mechanics honestly, its new mechanics and everyone, including savage and ultimate raiders, have died from them.
If your level 100 and this level of content is too difficult for you, might be time to move onto just crafting or gathering, because its gonna get harder further down the line.

No, no. I clearly state that there were 11 pages before Arthars acted, if anything that reaffirms that first pages are the normal forum activity but after that is most likely the effect of raids. Arthars and the other rage baiters (yesterday I saw another video from a creator I don't know) did me a favor of invalidating the last 70 pages.

... its about how others can struggle, how others can feel its too hard, about how others can feel overwhelmed, how others can have issues etc..

seeing your edit on the original post is funny. I'm not sure why you think mentioning content creators invalidates all the positive comments about the difficulty of normal content in DT. this thread was already popular with many pages disagreeing with the original post before streamers talked about it.

nothing in the new normal raids require any strategy. it's quite literally the perfect amount of punishing for normal content. especially one with currently the highest item level gear currently available. over time, these raids will become easier with gear and increased player knowledge.

just make casusl fights harder, instead of keeping them "easy / normal" but fun / engaging => lose casuals /player over time...

I really disagree. I've been spamming this forum for two days now to argue that casu content should stay as it is, and that ‘casu’ content has nothing to do with a lack of (reasonable) challenge. DT is on a very good path, and I hope they continue to do so.

Having said that, it's perfectly abnormal for streamers to get involved. Guys lead communities that can behave like rabid dogs (because the group effect is often an atrocious thing, let's face it). The guys should at least have the decency not to target a particular post, and frankly that would be worthy of legal penalties. This kind of thing can go a long way, and we're not in the early days of the internet where raids on communities/individuals and cyberstalking in general were ignored phenomena.

No please no. Anything that moves some of my favorite content closer to the snorefest that is Aglia is a bad move. In most runs Mathbot doesn't even get to his spicy spin as it is, you skip mechanics in rabanastre all the time.. and in Myth of the Realm it's the same thing. All the best mechanics didn't even happen in ***launch week***. Halone's spinning towers of doom that was fun was skipped on launch day.. LAUNCH *DAY*. This is not the way. If anything, a select few bosses in the SB alliance raids need an HP buff.

Also if Yoshi P goes back and adds savage CT that should be the one queued in roulettes.

I disagree to an extent. It's is really good that a streamer with an audience that loves this game and the direction it's taken with DT alerts them that there's a very active thread that the developers can read which is trying to revert the game back to the very easy very boring previous level of challenge. Not everyone comes here nor may they understand the influence such threads may have on the development of the game. A streamer is also not responsible for the lack of tact some of their audience may have.

I for one am glad that more people who prefer the quality of the content in DT can come here to express their gratitude and encourage the devs to stay the course and not cave to a vocal portion of the playerbase that spent over a decade playing the same game but still can't seem to move out of a glowing orange circle.

Okay, so the OP committed the cardinal sin of both saying that they find the new content difficult AND expressing the opinion that SE should review that. A demonstrably unpopular opinion that has prompted 40 pages of aggressive replies from players who don't seem able to make a point without resorting to passive-aggression and insults.

I mean, I realise that everyone who took offense at the OP for posting such an unforgivable thread is desperate to put the point across that they disagree through fear that SE might actually listen, but I think the point has been made now! Forty pages of aggression and insults, and a damn YouTube video mocking the OP, pretty much made the point. It's just getting ridiculous now!

There have been more than enough people answering the OP why his take is not good. Did u read his responses tho? He literally doesnt care at all. He thinks hes representing the "casual" players, which he doesnt. Hes part of a minority accusing people of forcing what they pref on people like him while literally doing the same. Also since Arthars made a video bout this he acts like a child.

In the end hes ignorant and doesnt understand where he is wrong or he is not even willing to.

He never wanted to discuss with people not sharing his view, which he clearly stated already. Ofc people are getting upset. What do you expect?

The problem is that he could have made a video, without pointing the finger at a particular thread. He masked the OP's name (for legal reasons more than anything else, I imagine?); nonetheless, it can be found in two seconds. Linked to the player's virtual identity. And from then on, causing problems / raids.

I completely disagree that a yt isn't accountable to its community. On the contrary: managing a community is one of the most essential parts of their job. Saying the opposite is like saying that a teacher isn't responsible for his or her class: if a few students get out of hand and are particularly problematic, we'll always assume that it's up to the teacher to try and calm things down a bit. At least to try. In the case of a youtuber and a streamer, it's the same thing and I'm always surprised that some people (not you: the streamers/youters in question ) think they're above that... What's more, when it comes to winning subscribers, they're suddenly very good at management!
