Wow, Wuk Lamat is really single-handedly ruining the DT story...

Zenos didn't even sideline the boss, Zenos' entrance to the story felt more to me like "Hey, wanna fly on the back of a dragon god, hurtling through space as a depressed bird chucks planets at you?"

Like hell yeah, Zenos only made the last boss more epic, AND THEN when we had our victory the game was like "I know you just finished an epic battle and destroyed an existence-ending horror, but how about we have a battle even more epic than the one you just fought?"

If I remember correctly, there is actually a practical purpose for him to be there as well beside the cool factor. Even if we won, there is no thing stopping Endsinger to run away again and found a new nest. I think the battle dialogue in the normal mode version implied she tried that, and Zenos was "oh no, you don't get to run away this time".

In Worqor Zormor, Zarool Ja manages to down us by hitting a bird(?) a bit hard.

They really need to use something else to explain us standing around and save down for the count for extremely powerful bosses like Endsinger, making the boss go untargetable and starting a cutscene is perfectly fine, we don't need to get stunned and forced on one knee every time a breeze blows slightly harder than usual

I bet they do it without thinking or realizing tbh. It's one of those elements that implies the current team no longer have the same level of attention to detail.

New idea for 7.1: Wuk Lamat transforms: "It was I, Gilgamesh, all along!" and the whole thing was an elaborate prank for some nonsense reason; we all do a new Manderville dance, happy end. And now we look for the real Golden City.

Wuk Lamat being Greg would actually be better. Actually sidelining her into the Manderville questline could help explain her blackhole/turn people into positivity thrall skills. And her magical power level increases would also make sense too.

Nah, they'll never allow us to be so unkind to Wookie dearest. At best we'd be allowed to have a "fade to black" scene (like with Lyse), only after Wuk would stand triumphant while WoL would be on one knee, visibly catching their breath.

So be careful what you wish for...

With how the writers been doing things, if they gave us a 1v1, they’d make her a damage sponge and somehow have her do ridiculous amount of damage to the WoL, even if you switch it to Very Easy. Then when we get her to 80% we get a cutscene of her knocking our weapon out of our hand (or maybe bird ex machine makes an earlier appearance) and then we congratulate her on being so amazing to best/save us. And also tell her she’s gonna be a great Dawnservant.

You know what. I'll bite on this. I WOULD take Valens over Wuk. Because Valens was designed to be hated. He was presented as an absolute scumbag, someone you wanted to destroy. You're not supposed to like him, and he succeeds at that. It's an example of very good character design that everyone remembers how much of a disgusting piece of filth he was, and how satisfying it was for him to be pulped.

It's not the useless house cat, that the game tries so very hard to force in your face, because you're SUPPOSED to like her, only for half the playerbase to absolutely despise every single second she's around.
