Wow, Wuk Lamat is really single-handedly ruining the DT story...

I don't want her to just disappear. I want the satisfaction of seeing her die to an enemy that I alone will kill with ease afterwards. It's not like other NPCs haven't died to a surprise attack before.

I'd take that. I'd also be ok with punching her to death at the edge of the universe like our last unwanted clingy "friend".

I never thought I'd find a character less likeable than Lyse. But here we are. Also the amount of BS the story is willing to throw out there to make her bonehead decisions work so the plot can move forward, is bottom tier story writing. She is NOT the kind of individual you would want leading your country.

I hated every moment with her. I would of supported Koana 100% but her? No. My character would of done anything possible to be free of her. Annoying character. Voiceacting was as terrible as the character. Only good thing to come out of it was since she became dawnservant we are saved from having her tagging along spouting more friendship garbage every few steps and stealing my glory after a long hard fight.


Please fire the writers and get better voiceactors going forward. We dont need ffxiv to be star wars’d. Thanks.

This is a fear I've had for a few days now after finishing the MSQ. If they make her follow us around in future expansions then I'll just go back to WoW, my endgame here is MSQ and glamour. WoW already has this game beat on the latter despite the lack of dyes, and it's far easier to ignore a story or character I dislike there than it is here.

Considering the obvious little prince needing help, I'm pretty sure the writer wants to keep Wuk Lamat for the rest of the expansion. Highly likely that it'll be that Wuk takes up 50-80% of the lines in the 7.X patches just like the main story. Then there's the crown at the end. It's pretty obvious where the writer is going to take the story.

Wuk also acts as a tank, so she'll probably be maining that spot for the rest of the expansions for Duty Support.
