The worst thing is I can log-in on my alt right now (alt that has been camping in front of the fc house for a week) and queue for frontlines, get into an instance with 72 other players and have no performance issue on max settings. Or go run in the "improved" flower fields of Il Mheg. But if I teleport to a 2.0 city area, I'm done... Crash to desktop loop.

Same if you logged off in a city before patch, you won't be able to log in the game.

The hardware can obviously run the game, it's just something somewhere in the code that need to be fixed.

So like so many other issues we're going to go unnoticed due to the fact that they cannot verify (Two of the accepted bugs have been moved to unable to verify). They are welcome to come to my home, sit at my wife's computer and crash like she does. No issues with it! Until you've tried to play the game without going to a main city you cannot understand the frustration levels. Just to do the moogle quest we had to log out of her machine, load into mine, do the next step, port back, then log out, have her log into her machine, me back in mine, port and go do the quest. What should have taken us 10 minutes tops took over half an hour due to logging out, logging in and queue times and this was NOT during peak times.

We have it good since I have a rizen5 processor and don't crash, other's are completely unplayable since they have no secondary machines to use.

However she will be ending her subscription until this can be resolved. Not paying for a game she cannot play.

For my self I gave them the Name "Downtrail" or "Doomtrail". Not sure whats better sounds, I may decide me on one day.


Sitting here over a week and cant play. No reactions from someone on SE side, feels like they can't said anything or they aren't allowed to talk to us (feels so actually).
On news I only read about "optical" bugfixes and a similar problem on Xbox-Version. I just wait for the day they continue housing timers before they fixed the problems... 45 days later I will loose 2 big plots. I dont have around 300 or more Euro left for a new mainboard, cpu and memory... and without the knowledge... if the game is running then on my PC I don't really want to invest it if I have the money.

Downtrail works for me. Sad because I can play, but my spouse cannot and she is NOT happy with SQeeks as she calls them. And the two day comp they just provided to all PC players, is BS. I've taken to X(twitter) to complain now since they have moved several of our posts to the unable to verify category, which means we cannot even add to those posts. They are Admin locked. In the grand scheme of things, I can afford to buy an expansion to a game we enjoy. I cannot afford to replace a processor and Motherboard for $300-$600 for a single game when I have games that are MUCH more graphics and processor intensive that run fine.

Same for Kiiari, at this point she's about ready to cancel and request a refund for DT since she's not even input the code. Why put in the code if the game crashes every main city? I'm posting on her behalf because she's upset.

Stupid question, Are you dev's even looking at these posts? I get that you did maintenance on the weekend and while a lot of people are upset know it's appreciated for those that cannot play.

There have been 5 different posts about this, one is accepted, 3 are 'unable to verify' and this one we can still respond to. I'm having to do everything I can to keep my wife happy because your game is broken for her, put yourself in my shoes, we just need an update, even a semi official "hey we saw this, we're not ignoring you' would be acceptable at this point.

At this point I'm just angry with the fact that none of the posts about this issue have a single response from a dev. Even just a "Sorry we are looking into this," would be nice. I tried making a new character on Dynamis and character creation is fine but of course when trying to load in it crashes. I went ahead and sacrificed my last character that was in the Ishgardian housing district to see if I could at least get into the Foundation. I did, walked 3 steps and got the same crash again. It's obviously something of SE's side since the characters will load in. Just not in the cities. I know it's not Direct X11 since I am playing BG3 solo and with friends on it without a single issue. Not even a stutter. I'm turning off my subscription at this point and demanding a refund on Dawntrail. I didn't put 4500 hours of time into this game for the Dev's to not even bother us with a response to an issue that doesn't allow a chunk of their players to even get into the game.
Also if a DEV does read this maybe add the reason of game unplayable under your reasons as to why I am cancelling my subscription

Well they moved my post to duplicates however they moved https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...-Old-Sharlayan to Confirmed, so "MAYBE" they will resolve this or at least tell us whats going on.
