Probably the same technique used by SE to write 90% of the DT story/script :')
"ChatGPT, write a short dialogue with the Leveilleur twins about positivity and the meaning of life."

I read all that you said and thought. At first .... I didn't like the story and the lady tiger didn't impress me, but the story just was a side dish of the greatest ... expac.... I've every seen and been a part of. 1st .... the music makes me want to play for long periods of time, making fates fun again. Gathering is fun because of the music and when I got the new mount cycle I was floored at it sleek design and moveability. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves and no one wants to log off the game. The dungeons are fun and exciting, the trials were not to hard but not to ez .... a perfect balance. Am I having fun is the main point of this game and I am having fun enough said. period))))
sagacious
I still think Shadowbringers is peak story for the game, and they really stuck the landing with Endwalker.
That said I still really enjoyed Dawntrail's story, and think it set up some really good hooks for future adventures.
Knock it off with them negative waves. Just because someone have a different opinion than yours, doesn't mean they're less valid or less true.
I am actually really enjoying myself in this update. The music hits just right for me, I found myself at the edge of my seat during points of the story, and the gameplay for the VPR is interesting and engaging to me.
With all this being said. . .best expansion? I will decline that one, but I do think it is really fun! This expansion was exactly what this whole experience was to my WoL. . . a vacation! I got to see my character smile sooo much during the cutscenes and it was mostly at watching the world that I got to help build hold themselves up (crafted experience I know, still felt cool). The way my character is looking at the map at the end of the whole thing makes me really excited for the future as well~ But again, Turiallal was a vacation, or at least for now. There is still plenty of updates to come along and things to see so there may be more to this then what has been explicitly told to us? Idk, me thinking out loud.
Now I will say this expansion maybe has some of the best potential, or at least in my general opinion. We have an artifact that can do some pretty amazing things just. . . there haha. A map with unexplored zones. A will of an adventurer to always see the new and unexpected. . .and the last message from Zenos and others showing a small light to our "true nature". I could really see something cool coming from this setup, but I tend to let my imagination go wild~ For now, I enjoyed it :3
Your opinion is valid, I just wish that the story was handled and explored in a better way.
Don't get me wrong the premise of the DT is good, the writing is just handled... poorly. It had me cringing and eye rolling multiple times from the obvious emotional baiting to the point were I began to skip cutscene. Which kind made it better(?).
It's a solid 6.5 / 10 imo. I don't feel any negativy, but I can see how this writing can get grating really, REALLY, fast.
Best Expansion for me Endwalker (im a sucker for space themed stuff.) DT is up there tho personally.I am actually really enjoying myself in this update. The music hits just right for me, I found myself at the edge of my seat during points of the story, and the gameplay for the VPR is interesting and engaging to me.

Okay apologies if that didnt came over as it should. It opened exactly one new thread, and it's one that we've kind of known about in the world for the past six irl years.
This counter really annoys me because every single story except Endwalker was brand new, and Endwalker was just a sequel to Shadowbringers.
The only real continuity between ARR-HW-SB was Garlemald, and they were present in extremely different capacities in each. They had to rewrite Ascian lore to make Shadowbringers work and that was the only thing that was carried over. It's all new and fresh every single time. That's not an excuse to poop the bed.
Your quote, i was refering to the brand new story arc after the ascian stuff has ended with endwalker. Thats all.
And i am not trying to make other peoples opinions invalid. As i mentioned all have their right to be there.

It is really good and finally no more Ascians its been since ARR to EW, which has been all about Ascians pulling strings.....
This is much needed change and it is nice.
