You can be spoiled when you're just searching FF14 on Twitch because someone could be doing the final boss in the thumbnail. This is just not a foolproof way of getting the mount since you have to do it again and again until you hit 6 hours.

Yes they really, really did not think this through properly. I hope Yoshi P apologizes because people have been waiting for 3 years for this story.I find it strange myself. In a Lodestone post they ask us to not spoil other players who want to experience the Dawntrail in their own speed and at the same time want us to watch Streams and potentially spoil ourselves.
Does it work if you play the game and have Twitch open in a browser? Because when playing the game, the browser can't be the active window.
When you're opening a stream you could already spoil yourself even if you just saw the final boss for a second. This is totally not foolproof. I would ask my boyfriend to do it but he is also playing DT and neither of us want to be spoiled.

Do you know how long the MSQ takes? It's like 100 hours. And some people want to also do roulettes to level up Viper and Pictomancer and that could take even more time. Some people also love crafting and will be leveling crafters as well. That's like 400 hours already and most players only play 4-5 hours a week. This is running for a month. This is going to be a non-issue for the majority of people who play this game since the majority will be finished MSQ within that month. All of the streamers will be done MSQ within the first few days I would expect in the race to push out content first.
If you want the mount then do DT yourself first and then go get it through drops after?

Do you find it funny to misgender and call a girl a "bro"?
I sure don't. I'm a woman not your "bro".

Then watch Zepla who said she is not streaming MSQ for the next two weeks? You can bookmark her channel now.

I'll be 5 days ahead of the streamers, in the media world 5 days is a geological era: it's much more likely that I'll be the one making spoilers in their chats than the opposite.

You have until July 29th to watch the stream that is more than enough time for people to complete the story which for preorders is on the 28 of June and is over a month. Most people will be done with story inside of a week.
Enjoy!

Idk about that.
There will be a lot of streamers that rush the story before early access even ends, and then they will likely focus on content until after the raid tier in 7.05, and then go back to watch the story after that point in time.

I dunno, just look for a streamer that specifically isn't going to spoil. Meoni specifically said they were avoiding MSQ for like a week.
Surely if this is that important to you, you could simply do the homework and find a streamer appropriate to your needs?
Other than that, pretty low effort bait.

45 seconds in, Meoni says "Going to be playing some non-spoilery Dawntrail related stuff..probably going to be leveling up Pictomancer and things like that, at least for the first few weeks. We will try not to do any MSQ or anything like that, at least on the stream."
Also, and this might be wildly shocking, people can just...not get the mount? It'll come back in the future someday.
