its literally an attempt at a coordinated harassment campaign.
seeing that their stated goal is to have enough people mass-block people who think healer isn't great these days, to make it impossible for anyone they think is a former healer main to do any content whatsoever.
which is an absolutely horrific thing to be going on in public.
the whole situation makes square enix look INCREDIBLY bad as a company, that people orbiting their invitees for a media tour are involved in this, which is, i will point out again. an attempt at a mass harassment campaign against people who have given feedback on the official forums for feedback, and decided to not wait around for a response and switch roles for dawntrail.
a mass harassment campaign is absolutely something that sqaure enix should have been on top of as soon as the creators started going on the log site and shaming people.
it is COMPLETELY uncalled for and inappropriate behavior from EVERY. single person involved.
because they are upset that some people don't wanna play healer any more and are publicly talking about it.

Lol, this wouldn't even work, even with the new system. They are not excluded from duties, you can still end up with a person you blocked. Their text is just hidden and you have to click a button if you want to see it regardless. You might not see all PF options, but would you really want to proc straining duties with people that petty...? I genuinely fail to see how this is a big loss for healers or people these haters conclude would be a healer.its literally an attempt at a coordinated harassment campaign, seeing that their stated goal is to have enough people mass-block people who think healer isn't great these days, to make it impossible for anyone they think is a former healer main to do any content whatsoever.
Edit: Didn't see your edit before writing. Of course in the end all harassment campaigns are shitty and yes, SE should do something about it (and make notes for the next media tour who should not be invited back). Wouldn't count on a statement right away though, it'll probably take a while for them to notice (also it's week-end).
Tbh in the end this will probably be a storm in a teacup, both the strike and that harassment campaign, even though I hope just talking about it everywhere might give SE some ideas of how to improve the situation for healers. The issues with healers are being discussed in this forum in multiple places and languages after all. But I'm not going to be super concerned about a bunch of people watching streamers who will reroute their rage as soon as the next ERP club rents a billboard or a new housing item or glam might not meet their standards.

First thing that happen to me when I saw my name in it was to crack. Next, I wonder if this is what happen when you don't get to live up your mean girl high school fantasy lmfao.
Come I clap for u whoever made that. I would gibe a medal but I don't have 1.
"Outside obvious jokes/sarcasm, I aim to convey my words to the future readers who may come across mine posts. Can I change -your- mind, somehow? Potentially... but that's not why I'm writing. You and I have wrote our piece(s). We don't necessarily need to change each other's mind. But we can change other's."
well yeah, i don't think it will work, thats why i called it an "attempt", but its still heinous that the attempt is even happening. I do know several uninvolved people who found out about the situation from the harassment campaign, and a couple people, including me, emailed about the situation with relavent links with timestamps to the square enix "influencer/content creator" management team on around friday just so they'd have that waiting for them monday morning.Lol, this wouldn't even work, even with the new system. Absolutely. Who else cares about numbers so much. Healers being happy pressing AoE heal #2 aren't the ones who complain about healing, DPS neutral lilies or precious, precious balance.
This is the logical end result.
On one hand everything needs to be easy for single player story mains and on the other hand jobs mustn't be unique because balance. There is literally no middle ground along with, funnily enough, mid-core content.
I mean, not even the trinity system works in this "RPG" (or actual buffs, debuffs, elements, aggro, positioning, job interplay etc).
This person comes across like Lionel from Xeno's lawsuit. Just an unhinged loser. Same for the person to go so far as to create a casual score. He's even got the weird collage to match like Lionel does. Really not a good look for the person who made the doc lmao.I've been linked this list today: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...75lI_y/pubhtml
CC orbiters having a normal one again.
Funny that we seen already that there is a good mix of casuals and more hardcore raiders that are unhappy with the state of healers. Hardcore ones don't like their jobs being made simple, casual ones don't like being bored and unneeded in dungeons. It's across the board feedback.
Nice of them to leave their name in it for reporting purposes at least.

they don't owe you anything and rallying to attack them like this gives me some really bad vibes/energy. i think this strike is going to go down in ffxiv history for all the wrong reasons.
"attack them"
they're the ones who publically broke terms of service. by going on a parsing site. on stream. and started insulting people they don't agree with.
and one of their little fans started a half-baked attempt at a harassment campaign.
all former healers are doing is playing a different role and getting put in the middle of what looks to be the most toxic behavior ive seen outside of 2010 world of warcraft.
you are backing the wrong horse

Just quickly chiming in but I have to ask you all to link to the document without the names please and remove the old links.
The one who did the document has since removed the names.
I don't want to be part of some kind of witchhunt just because I posted in there.
Thank you.
