Meal plan everyone for 28th?

Pretentious, much? I'm an adult. I work from home. I get unlimited vacation with my job. I took the week off to enjoy a game I love. Some folks go on cruises. I am playing Dawntrail. Doesn't make me any less of an adult.

I took off Friday, 6/28 for a 3 day weekend & took off Tuesday, 7/2.
Big breakfast
Snacks for the air fryers

Probably my usual sandwich in the field for lunch, and whatever is quick that I can scrounge up for supper when I stagger in from work at 8:30-9:00pm.

What's this "vacation" and "time off" thing you guys always talk about whenever a new expansion drops?

FFXIV is my first MMO that I have ever played. So since ARR, I have always taken off for the new expansion. Just a tradition for me. Plus I have loads of vacation time.

If the servers are in a playable state, I'll probably just order a pizza or something. If not, I might feel motivated enough to get off my lazy butt and go get something better. No concrete plans either way.

Depends on how warm it is that day since I don't have AC, but probably things that don't require use of my oven.
Granola and yogurt for something sweet, lots of ice for water/tea, potato salad, and a nice sandwich.

The real gamer hours start on the 30th of July when Savage releases.
I haven't really thought about what my meal plans are, but I've got a feeling it's going to be a lot of lazy burgers.
Basically, I've got some frozen hamburger patties, and a foreman grill. Just throw them on the grill while still frozen. Turn it on, and in eight minutes they're fully cooked and ready to be inhaled in-between pulls.
Then I'll probably balance it out with salads. No frills, just a chopped head of lettuce and some dressing. Maybe a couple croutons if I'm feeling snazzy. I might also just make a huge vat of fried rice the day before, and scoop out bowl-fulls occasionally.

What sucks is that since I didn't know when exactly the savage patch was dropping, I scheduled time off work for 7/15-7/26. But then when we found out the actual date, I tried to get it pushed back, but was only able to get 8/1-8/9.
Those first two days are going to be terrible at work.

Just for future reference, normal raid is always 2 weeks after release, and savage is 4 weeks after release of an expansion.

Adults don't take days off of work? Then why do I have 5 weeks of vacation a year?

I'll be working over early access period so just my usual food once I return home from work. By the time I've cooked, ate and walked my poochie I'll get an hour to play before I should sleep, might push an extra hour though :3

On the bright side I'll have a lot more free time in July working less overtime to let myself play a bit!

I have the week off, same as other it is a tradition and I live with a wonderful cook who will make the usual lovely meals and it’ll be very self indulgent.
