The more damage the tank takes while dragging the mobs to their final destination, the less time I get to dps as a healer; which means that, if the dps are slacking off (which as of late seems to be the case in a lot of parties I've had), the more resources I have to dump to keep the tank upright, and the greater chances of me either completely running out of resources and causing a wipe or the tank running out of mitigations because of the extra damage they took. This extra damage causes extra stress on the healers, and using up said resources to keep you alive while you make your jog to your final destination because you're eating unnecessary damage is one less resource I have to keep you upright in the ginormous pull you just did.
Sprint for the mitigation, sprint for your life.
