This is great news but I have a question. Is there any way we can get the price history to include all three cities? Perhaps a separate database that is updated once an hour with recent transactions??
We can hope, but since the markets are accessed separately, I wouldn't get your hopes up.
This is definitely a big improvement for buyers. However, I think people will still be reluctant to sell in LL or Grid because people will always search the Uldah market wards first.
Probably the best band-aid fix they could come up with using their current engine, but I do hope they have a fully-linked AH ready by the time 2.0 rolls around.
This is a great point. There should be no tax for using the other market areas at least, and at most no tax at all for using the feature.
nope, the tax is for using the item search, its still the lazy man tax
if you care that much about your gil and you find the item cheaper in another city you want...nothing stops you from running or teleporting there and buying it directly just like you do in uldah

As if there isn't enough gil circulating still from the stupid amounts of gil we got back in the day, you don't want that tax? The tax isn't even that bad for item search, at most it's like 4k right?
The convenience tax is capped at 4k or 5k, it should definitely stay.
well for all who wanted an AH and said that they were leaving because of that, now they dont have any excuses, i like this change but wont affect me that much, is good to know they are working in the right direction
Now if we just had city chat channel I could chill in Limsa >.>
