Looks like gapclosers have become a role action for all melees now? (same animation in GNB, DRG, PLD, probably others that I didn't see)
No longer unique. Don't think I'm a fan of that change if what I saw was correct.

Whm gap closer, Just why? Healers don't need more of the same abilities.
PLD, almost fell asleep with how un-intresting the changes look, I actually preferred the animation of atonement 3 times over those two new sword effects... ZZZ
RDM, epic 4 finishers should have seen that coming.
Guess my impressions are very mixed, I just hope when we see the actual skills PLD gets changes that make the job fun again, but I'm coping here. I'm also kinda mixed on most other jobs, DRK looks kinda cool but its hard to tell if it will be any more fun.
They also removed gap closer potency. Because planning them out was too big of an ask. Blood weapon and Dilirium got merged.What looked nice

DRK will have 3 less buttons to press in it's opener, this gameplay genuinely just looks worse.
Yeah, extended Confiteor finisher also looked underwhelming.
Maybe there's some nuance in between some role actions (like with Divine Might) that we'll see later when we see how the abilities interface with each other (if at all...)?
At least they didn't turn Passage of Arms into a circle.

PLD's/War's gap closer looked like it still did damage to me? but DRK/GNB looked like they didn't, My guess is that because PLD/War are more slow so taking away damaging gap closers would have slowed it down too much, guessing they want tanks to be even more closer...?
Can't really comment on the gameplay yet, but it does certainly look a lot slower and less weavy.
