    I can agree it would be nice to have the Achievement Tracking display have an option in the HUD just as we get the notices for achievements nearing completion as we enter a zone.

    I disagree that they need to add more incentives to complete achievements. Either do the achievement because you enjoy the content and think it's a nice goal to complete, or ignore the achievement.

    What would be nice is more rewards on Jonathas that are purchased with the Achievement Certificates we earn, especially consumable items like dyes that we would want to purchase multiple times. Those of us who were part of the original Veteran Rewards program already have very little to spend our certificates on. My friends who have only started playing FFXIV in the last two years are now complaining that they've bought everything and have nothing to spend their certificates on now.

    The good reason to do something is because you find it fun and/or interesting.

    Players need to work on escaping the Skinner Box of gaming where the only thing that drives them forward is the promise of a reward. They almost never end up satisfied in the end.
