Racial locked hairs

Would only support this if they hired an outside contractor to work on this. I would rather have new hairstyles; look at how long it's taken them to port hairstyles to viera/hrothgar, almost 3 years and they're sitll not finished.

You can have the viera race hairstyles when we can use all the AF headgear for a single expansion and when viera get all the multi-racial hairstyles, we're still missing a lot.

It would be nice if the hairstyles already ported over were actually done better.

Miqo'te and Viera have a bunch of "universal" styles or ones picked from Hyur or even Lalafell but the ported hairstyles all have awkward gaps where normal ears should go while their animal ears just clip through the pattern of the hair.

It's enough to make me never commit to playing Viera whenever I fantasia despite FFXII being my favorite in the series and FFTA being my first ever FF. That and the way glasses float a few inches in front of their face...


I do want that Au Ra hime cut though. I can understand why most Au Ra unique styles are indeed unique. Horns, specific styles complementing Au Ra aesthetic etc., but that one in particular is the closest we have to Yotsuyu and it's an Au Ra exclusive.

You can ask for universal/ no racial locked hairs but they won't be ported properly- look at the ported hairs to Viera and Miqo for an example.
Miqo'te already suffered from the same issues with how awkward several of the ported hairs looked- since there's often a space on the sides of hairs meant for non-animal ears.

The continued lack of quality will continue to grow because people will accept mediocre so long as they get a share and not enough people are making a fuss about it- like removing racial features with hats and certain armors- hats are starting to remove miqo'te ears and there's an armor that removes their tails. I've seen a small handful of some people rejoice in this, but why wear a ballcap that literally erases Miqo ears? It looks bad.
Mogstation items that have a headpiece Viera can't wear should have a discount. Or better yet, The common sense thing to do: Start designing all headgear with Viera in mind and go from there; SE.
Why can't the design team just get it right? Billion dollar company with indie company budget towards XIV character designs.
I know there's a graphic update coming, but it's NOT a character creation update.

Make hats have ear holes in them for miqo'te & Viera- Or make headpieces that mostly cover the head have preset hairstyles that takes on our characters hair if hats on certain races is such an issue.

I really want some hairtsyles from other races like Hyurs and Au ras but, my problem is that the game doesnt have good hairtstyles in general because as i see in the design contest, they create a new hairstyle based on hyur head shape and dont proper adapt to the other races head shape and the result is some aberrations that every other race without ears and different headshape have.

And for the love of god, bring more long hairstyles, they don`t care about tails and aura horns clipping through everything but dont give us long hairstyles.
