    What are your unrealistic expectations for the upcoming Combat Live Letter?

    I'd like to know what you want them to announce in the Live Letter, even though it's unlikely to happen. These are my wishes:

    - The purge of the 2 minutes meta;
    - Healers getting basic dps rotations like tanks have;
    - Criterium Savage deleted, rewards from those will be added for clearing regular Criterium multiple times;
    - You can buy old PVP Series rewards with Trophy Crystals, but they are EXPENSIVE. Also bring the Hellhound Gearset back;
    - Positionals kept, and they show a visual or sound effect if you hit or miss them;
    - Critical Hit Rate becomes critical chance, and Direct Hit Rate becomes critical damage;
    - MINE trial roulettes, main scenario roulettes become solo duties, some ARR and HW dungeons reworked to have more of the basic mechanics in their fights (stack, spread, proximity, knockback).

    My desires for my main job Bard:

    - Upgrade for Wanderer's Minuet, allowing you to stack Pitch Perfect 4 times;
    - Songs don't require targets;
    - Sidewinder grants 2 Repertoire;
    - Barrage works on AoE and has 60s cooldown;
    - A weaponskill that deals more damage than Refulgent Arrow and less than Apex Arrow (like 320 potency), can only be used with 100 Soul Voice Gauge and costs 20 Soul Voice Gauge.

    Less of what I want and more of what I expect but:
    -All of them get the exact same upgrade to their 30% defenses
    -DRK and GNB get buffs to their sustain and party sustain to put them on par with PLD/WAR
    -lv100 skill for GNB/WAR/PLD is a 2m finisher so they can operate on a 2m cycle like DRK and the rest of the jobs
    -lv 100 skill for DRK is a buff to its 1m Delirium buff pushing it towards a Gnashing Fang or confiteor

    This is about as safe and mundane as you can get and so far its looking that way.

    I'm also guessing they're going to try to solve crit varaince in some way, could either be through stat changes, or by making all big finisher attacks guaranteed Crit/DH.

    I'm more concerned how much they have butchered AST. Did they remove cards? Did they revamp them? Did they make a copy paste of WHM?

    What i want? Well, provided we're not differentiating their dps output..
    Sustain nerfs to all the tanks across the board.

    Warrior
    - Warrior loses every shield it gets, you're a barbarian. Not a Scholar.
    - Nascent flash only heals Warrior, and gives it's mitigation to it's ally. You're a barbarian, not a Sage.
    - Shake it off gives a temporary max hp boost for 30 seconds and a flat 10% physical mit. Overtime is removed. You're a barbarian, not a White mage.
    - Equilibrium loses the health over time effect. Warrior never needed Gunbreaker's Aurora on top of Equilibrium.
    - A duration nerf to Holmgang, so it remains the most readily available invuln, but won't be able to fully cover all mechanics.
    - 123 no longer heals.

    Gunbreaker
    - Heart of corrundum loses it's 900 potency heal, and gains a synergy with Aurora instead.
    If Gunbreaker falls below half health, the full remaining healing of Aurora activates at once.
    -123 loses shields and healing.

    Paladin
    - A duration buff to Hallowed ground. This way there's pro's and cons and it won't objectively be the worst anymore.
    - Magic phase no longer heals Paladin.
    - Holy sheltron healing cut in half.

    Dark knight.
    - TBN drops to 20% and duration goes to 8 seconds to make it applicable in more content. It feels weird that i become less tanky in some content because the shield won't break consistently.
    - Dark missionary now also gives a small 10% shield.
    - Dark mind gives 15% magic mit and a 10% shield.
    - Healing from 123 removed.
    - Healing on invuln halved, so you will still need supplementary healing from your healer.
    - Oblation's duration is reduced to 8 seconds.


    What i expect but don't necessarily want?

    - A mitigation upgrade for warrior to make it's mitigation better than the others. Probably also comes with ''additional effect: heal over time''.
    - A fat healing buff to Dark knight.
    - Removal of gap closer damage, to help further simplify the tank dps rotation.
    - Removal of positionals, to make sure the smaller hitboxes and boss positioning they talked about won't actually matter.
    - 120s heavy hitting ability to further homogenise the tanks. (Warrior gets guaranteed crits, is probably the ability Wuk used)
    - A cover mechanic for Warrior because there's nothing left for it to cannibalise from the other 2 tanks.

    I honestly hate how the majority of melee plays in this game.

    So my unrealistic expectation is that it resembles something out of World of Warcraft in that it's based on procs instead of focusing on a buff that constant needs to be refreshed either by you pressing the buttons to do so or it's rotation refreshing it. I can't stand babysitting buffs, but that's me. I know I don't speak for everyone.

    I'm mostly hoping that AST doesn't become WHM 2 (i don't like playing whm and I'm bad at shield healing, so that would lock me out of healing without other changes) and that healers get any kind of basic damage rotation. The former I don't know the likelihood of, the latter I do not expect to happen.

    - MCH getting its ammo back.
    - Every tank gets a fancy cover variant with new gameplay mechanics that require tanks to cover allies.
    - Healers being interesting and fun to play.
    - Resource based gameplay brought back from the grave.
    - Chaos and rng to break the rigid boring scripts of everything.
    - Capstone lvl100 skills being taken from pvp LBs with powerful unique effects.

    This is the most depressing thing I've ever read and I actually agree with it.
