They both look like they are sooo done with everyone's BSFor the lulz I made a feminine version of my Hrothguy. I really like her, but I feel her resting face is a bit less, uh, optimistic, but this seems to be the case with many Hrothgal/Hrothgar face comparisons, they are more neutral. But maybe that's also me just interpreting :3 cat faces as chronically nice.
They are both great! XD

LOL
For the original one it might be a matter of the lighting, he is usually supposed to be the nice wholesome neighbourhood Dadgar. xD But I guess his usual glam with a flower crown and stuff also adds to this, the racial gear doesn't exactly go into that direction. xD
But yeah, absolutely agree with you for the Hrothgal version.

I imagine by trying to fix her mood he shares with her his flower crown and she gets more irritated, but he smiles thinking he did good!LOL

Seeing their potential update.
To the Benchmark, i doubt there will be much change in the long run for Female Hrothgar in the long run.
Just better overall representation in the character creator of what it will be in full release.
(since this was the latest, and likely where most of us into Rothgals will be at, i commented here)
I seriously doubt there will be much change for us, except for the differences to transfer (closer to) 1-1 between benchmark and creator.
But to be safe, we will have to see if our Gals/Guys can handle alil brush up in the creator.

i just hope i wont have to do alot of Color Corrections. and maybe itll make all more at ease over their Mains/Alts.
now the real question? continue tinkering or hold off. its gonna be awhile regardless
"Angry People" Gonna..,
Well I think for the most part you are correct there might not be much of a change outside of the Character Creator closer resembling what the benchmark puts out which was all the first point. As for the 2nd point unless there is a part dealing with an issue with special data processes that affects the Hrothgals I don't think there is anything here since I doubt they would have time to address what is probably the biggest complaint about Hrothgals and the Face Locked Hairstyles. I think basically this will affect every other race more since they weren't originally built with the Graphics Update in mind and these could be implemented as late as the launch of 7.0 not the new Benchmark.Seeing their potential update.

As for should you keep working on your character I would say that is up to you, I'm sure we won't see an updated benchmark until mid may (About a month away atm) when they have the Combat Live Letter and we are still over two months out till 7.0, as for myself atm I'm just take a few to reflect and then I'll see about jumping back in to hammer down some more details.

I did think the new fur texture looked a bit odd/plasticy in the benchmark cc... I wonder how fluffy they're gonna look when it's updated
~sigh~

I think they only thing that they might alter about our female Hrothgar might be the darker fur showing different tones for the head and body. And maybe if we are lucky, they would add more hairstyles for preview. Or unlock the hair from the face!Seeing their potential update.

Regardless I hope they do a good job with the lighting. Even in live games, it was annoying since the light was so different it could alter a lot of colours.

It was a good idea not looking at this thread for a bit. I got to see a bunch more Hrothgar all at once. I couldn't help but make another myself.

I've been creating more than a dozen Hrothgals to, hopefully, find what I liked the most but about half of them are pretty equally appealing to me! I hope some old hairstyles will help me make a final decision.
