Does it matter?
Do your thing. Let others do theirs.

I would have laughed in their face.
But, this didn't actually happen, so...

Absolutely
As a member of the ERP community(Extreme Raid Progression) we are proud to say we welcome both ERPers and RPers(normal Raid Progression)
Please don't be afraid to visit our venues where our community will support our best supplies
If you get asked for a "mare" code(Master-Apprentice-Relationship-Estatus) do your best effort to provide it
We'll await you
For legal reason i have to say i do not participate on those

You never talked to a Roleplayer who is really hard into the lore, hrm? Nobody is as hardcore as a lore-n*zi.
Edith: Hey Cousin Joya! *waves*
Qiyo Joyo - Der Zahnstocher der Sande/ der Erste/ Kreuzfahrer der Zwölf.

LMAO
You can be many things in this game besides one thing.
Raiders are the corner stone of RP.
After a hard night of raiding some people just want to be a mushroom hoarder with their pet pig Truffles okay?
It's fine.
They're fine.

Same guy who did the Garlemald post the other day and many others.
Obvious bait is obvious.
There is nothing more disgusting than a RPer in FFXIV.
Big yikes.
Roleplay Etiquette also states you should not push your Roleplay onto others. There's nothing casual about the Weeaboo Police Department going to war with the Lalafell Menace, citizen. They're doing their part. Are you? Join the Weeaboo Police Department and save the world from the Lalafell menace! Service guarantees citizenship!
We serve so others do not have to.

Casuals can raid. Hardcore idiots can RP (but usually not well). Even hardcore raiders can RP.
Thinking that raiding and RP are mutually exclusive is a very silly idea.
