More how the entire thing started, really. Back when the patch dropped, there was one thread that, according to those who saw it, was very... blatant with its bigotry. Even in this thread there was blatant and even "hidden in plain sight" bigotry, though they're deleted now (though looking back some pages, some "edit reasons" were missed). Bringing up SBI at all is also pushing a very specific agenda (or conspiracy theory, propaganda, whatever nonsense those gamers are making up on the go) that has nothing to do with the topic of the thread at all.

It's fine to criticise someone's work. It's also fine to criticise the voice director (who seems to have been MIA for that mini patch). But calling for the VA to be fired just because some weren't satisfied with their performance is very entitled and yes, this applies to Sena's opinion as well. I get what she said, but that was really unprofessional and I hope over the year she's had time to reflect.

Fair enough it's just annoying to me. Like I came into this late. I don't know all the discourse. I'm not even LGBTQ+. But I have fought for their rights over the year. I have a mother who is in that rainbow. I know that sounds like a bigot saying "But I have friends who are XYZ." but like... it's the truth. I truly have tried to help over the years.

I just really, really don't like the voice. It's why I came back to the forums to see if I was crazy.

So being called (or implied to be) phobic just because I don't like a voice is kinda... insulting I guess you would say.
