Final Fantasy XIV is perfect as is, why change anything?

FFXIV improved FFXI in almost every way possible, and yet people don't realize how great this game really is.

I don't have the luxury of time to play as much as most but with the XP limitations I'm still caught up with the majority of players still playing.

Best of all is the fact that im playing FFXIV for free! I would pay $20 a month if i had to to keep playing this gem.

I say keep the game as it is, Tanaka did a fantastic job with FFXIV.

I'm afraid you're in the minority with that opinion..

If the game were perfect as it is, it wouldn't have been been slammed by critics the way it was, and the player base wouldn't be as meager as it is. Yoshida has been and is doing a fantastic job turning the game into a finished product in the span of only a few months too -- I really feel like he's a better fit as producer and director for the current generation of MMOs.

I've been extremely happy with what the game is shaping into, and if the poor developers can keep up this grueling pace then we're in for a really fantastic long-term experience.

I may enjoy FFXIV from time to time but I know it's far from perfect! There's still a lot of issues that needs to be done, and it has a VERY long way from being perfect. The last update was just another baby step toward that.

It needs to change in its own way, in its own direction, not in the XI direction, and I think it is starting to use the good of both worlds.

Nothing is ever, ever perfect. Even my most favorite games I can point to flaws in them. Why would we not want to improve on things? o_O
