I know they won’t, but I wonder if they would allow us to choose which summons are associated with each Demi summon.

I assume if we get shiva, leviathan, and ramuh, that they’ll have their own variation of the 1-2 combo.

Could make fights feel more fun if we can choose when we use summons with more instant casts vs hard casts.

The difference between SMN and MCH is that SE can staple the remaining ARR primals on as a literal copy/paste of the first 3 after Phoenix and the forums will spend the next 6 months raving about how it 'saved' Summoner and the job is now 'so fresh' compared to EW. Flash doesn't last forever though so they'll be in the exact same spot for 8.0.

If people are complaining about this smn it is simply because of the fact is that it is a steaming pile of shit. Emptying does not mean solving.

Old smn players were used to a certain rate of complexity. That has been completely eliminated.

Speaking as someone who played old SMN only super casually, and I play almost all the jobs sometimes just because I like glamming them if nothing else - I can't stand to play current SMN long enough to enjoy even that. There's just nothing going on with it, its every job mechanic feels like fluff. I basically got mad I had made a nice glamour for it to the point I repurposed it for SCH instead, just to get to look at it sometimes.

I don't think I ask a lot from most DPS jobs, but there has to be something to keep you from falling asleep.

I mean to be fair, it's kind of completely interchangeable which healer I play. The whole role is kind of my comfort one when I just want to hang back through a duty not focusing too hard on any one thing. But hey, if you enjoy glamour you can pick out of the four basically based on which one you want to look at.

Arcanist needs to be adjusted to be a full pet based class, Carbuncle auto attacks included, while SMN and SCH will only add flavor on top of it to establish identity.

Its because your pet refusing to do one of its enkindle abilities before you transition losing you a full stack of ruin during shb was awful, it was not "mastery" it was dealing with an awful mechanic that doesnt work, more frustrating than it was fufilling.

The pet ghosting is 99% causes by the Demi’s which is their own fault, SCH only really ever ghosts around seraph which is also a Demi
