Ain't that just that crazy. I do have to thank the devs for doing this for us though. Considering the fact that I want at least half of them, it will be quite easy to get. Huge fan of anything cyberpunk related, so I'm so glad that it was these relics with the most half-arsed steps. Might as well just get them all and gpose at Solution 9 with the next expansion.

I think this will likely not happen again, i got the sense by Yoshi-P at Fanfest that fans were not happy about how Relics were handled in EndWalker.

Yeah, I'll agree with some have said.
It's not really Dystopian.

I personally get HDN Series vibes.(though not many will know exactly what I mean.)

Some I know have said Neomuna or whatever it's spelt from D2.

(others have joked PSO2, but nah..,)

In either case, some win, some lose.
But everyone had some journey.


edit: if it wasnt obvious. I'm lumping the Relics and Solution 9 Together.

I'm pretty sure they batch developed all the content of EW in advance and have just been trickling it out on schedule. Almost nothing in the entire expansion has listened to player feedback

I mean, as a shiny weapons enjoyer who doesn't have to time to go grind bozja or whatever, I'm satisfied with tomestone relics. If people are that upset, then add a why to speed up the grind in exploratory zones or something; it doesn't have to be all or nothing.

I think people forget they need to do 4 expansions worth of Hildebrand to even start the tome grind. I like the new aesthetics since it reminds me of my pc rig but I do wish they took the extra effort to differentiate the glows between jobs or even between roles.

example;

Tanks - default glow (Blue/Purple)
Healers - Green/Yellow
DPS - Red/Orange

In the long run, aside of the quests, "buy everything with poetics" will make it no grind at all – just a convenient sink for all the poetics I've got no better use for than to cash in for gardening soil.
