We really should be able to glamour other jobs' sets

There are sooooo many good non-casting coats, and jackets that would love to use for some pictomancer glams, but I can't because of role locks. I wish these restrictions didn't exist.

Same, I really hope they give an update on this. This is a feature I really want. I just want to mimic some of the glams of npcs that mix different job's gear. Why can't we?

Agree! Every time a new NPC clearly wearing gear from different roles shows up, I think “but why can’t we..?”

We can only hope this will be a big feature to hype up an expansion with, the way they're currently doing with the extra dye channel...

I will post in here again to give it a bump! I am hoping it is something they can implement. I hope they can see this and it does eventually happen. I would love to wear some of the other outfits while on a mage job, something that is not a robe!

Also would love the hempen gear from other races.

Another bump! Please let us appreciate the lovely updated character appearances to their fullest by allowing us to glam freely. There are so many gorgeous pieces of glam that I wanna play with!

This should be allowed. This is such a non-issue. All other MMOs don't have this type of restriction at all, and it's fine.

This is just like one of those traditionalists complaint --> remember when ARR first launched, everybody was against the implementation of Jump. This was because in FFXI, characters couldn't Jump. And when devs announced this feature, everyone was complaining, "Please no, we will see people jumping jumping, like rabbits, all over Limsa, it's annoying".

There are even suggestions, "how about a cooldown for Jump? You can only jump every 5 seconds" (if you don't believe me, search this site's archives forum).

Then it was implemented. And? What? Nothing happened right. It's normal.

10 years passed. And what? No one even remembers anymore.

After a while, things will become normal. It's such a non-issue. Just implement it.
