Female Hrothgar as a playable race. Show your support!

I think the race has a lot of potential for me. It's really going to depend upon the options facial wise along with the body and height possibilities. When I saw the initial pic the body really looked Roe like and that would be a no brainer for me and I wouldn't be giving them a try. Body looks slim but muscular which is fine.

The run looks good as does the posture and the emotes shown were fine. Need to see what they do with the others.

My first time using a imgur link, so forgive me if it flops, but I ranked what I liked the best, but I'm quite relieved that they made faces that ranged from very beasty, to almost human-like.

Very happy with how things turned out, I don't like the hair on the middle one, REALLY like the hair on the left (2nd) one, and I'm SUPER happy with the face on the right.

They almost sank my hopes and dreams with the trailer face. Hope to see more of the face on the right!

I realize that they only showed 3 faces, I hope to see if they have another face. I’m so looking forward to the benchmark !!

The shadowbringers hrotghar trailer only showed 3 faces too, so we might get a fourth as well. But it feels like the center is face 1, left is face 3 and right is face 2 judging by how they look alongside the respective male faces, might be wrong. But I'm glad to be proven wrong on my fears. They actually look bigger and blockier than in the line mural(definitely so compared to the book art), they even look a tad more burly than female ronso. And the illustration freaking slays. Who woulda thought turning Noi into a furry best race would be the answer to all(*most*) of our problems.

As the owner of this thread, I finally feel a sigh of relief that I can finally sign off this issue. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of the movement that made this happen. It was an honor to be part of the conversation all these years, and I hope that I’m the future we only continue to show support for the more furry of races.

Keep giving feedback on how the devs can improve hrothgar as a whole, and don’t let the momentum die. I myself plan on becoming a hrothgar again at some point, the race keeps getting better overtime.

For the First, Bozja, and now finally our homes in the new world. I can’t wait to see you all there. <3

So... Will we see Misija being changed to her obviously intended race?

It's something I've pondered as well. I don't think they'd actually do it, between the array of things that would need to be altered: not just Misija but the Queen, murals, minions and most recently her appearance having been committed to print in the third lorebook – and from past instances, if the lorebook disagrees with in-game information then it is usually the lorebook that wins and the game text that gets quietly altered.

But on the assumption that they intended Misija to be Hrothgar and were forced to substitute a Roegadyn model, the mural was made to reflect that substituted model. It wasn't drawn first to set the tone of what came after.

If they would be so bold as to alter Misija's appearance to what was likely their original vision, then they would redo the mural as well.

I guess I won't be race changing to one. I don't want to be some huge muscle looking character. Wonder if can get a refund on the fantasia bought.

If you bought a Fantasia – an item that can be bought freely at any time – on the mere assumption that you would want to change into a race that had not yet been shown, then it was inherently a gamble and losing the money is entirely on yourself.

They look pretty much exactly how I wanted them to. Nice spectrum of animal to human going on with the faces available so there should be something for everyone.
I only have one minor nitpick, and that is that their heads seem a little too small for their bodies. However I think that can probably be easily redeemed with fluffy hairstyles, or if worst comes to worst, SE could tweak the body to head ratio after benchmark feedback like how they adjusted male viera's default stance.
