yeah, it is bad when someone linked a personal YT account to my in-game character...saying it is "Public Knowledge" when that is not even humanly possible.

So fresh it'll smack yo momma!!!
Keeping this thread alive for as long as it takes for Square Enix to give a hoot. c:
Please share any suggestions you might have to improve the in-game privacy features / policies. I know I have covered a lot already, but the more feedback SE receives, the more they may be inclined to actually do something about these issues.

I approve of this. Thank you for making this thread.
A random bump from a fellow stalked player
Players ignoring or blacklisting someone. Challenge level: Impossible.
They really need to adjust the blacklist, friendslist, and housing access in this game.
Lot of people in this thread seem to have a problem when it comes to personal privacy.
The same people who have never had naked roes flood their personal house for days at a time,
wait for them in town with roes just to stand on top of them so no one can see them,
snipe all their market board offers out of spite,
stalk their friends to make them uncomfortable getting too close to them in fear of being stalked themselves,
impersonate them,
queue for dungeons at the same time as them just to get matched with them and sabotage the run,
or for the stalker to simply just stay in visual range to keep reminding them that they are being watched and that there's nothing they can do about it (seeing this for months with no assistance takes its toll).
If blacklisting and ignoring them solved literally any of these problems neither this thread, nor I would be here.
If you don't need better security features then I am happy for you, but don't bash a cry for help just because you don't need the help.
Don't wanna void someone? Don't. Don't wanna appear offline or in private mode? Then don't. Don't want to hide your lodestone ID? Then simply don't, but some of us who are having very real problems would like the option.
I think we all know what the next step should be if we want to get rid of stalkers right?Lot of people in this thread seem to have a problem when it comes to personal privacy.

Not saying that we should but sometimes people like these need a healthy dose of their own medicine if you catch my drift.
