I think by offhand glams they meant things like Whm and Blm being able to use their 1 handed weapons for glam

I BOUGHT the godforsaken Mog's Staff the day before they patched "all 1 handed weapons" into a 2 handed version [like the old allagan casting weapon used to be 1 handed too] Except they omitted the Mog's Staff and it's been rotting in my storage for like 7 years or something.

I actually bought Vanille's ff13 wand back in my sprout days. I wanted a nice looking cosmetic weapon for my CNJ as an alternative to the ugly leveling ones... I was pretty satisfied, and I know there's a disclaimer that it can't be glammed into 2h weapons, but my clueless self back then, with very little knowledge of the endgame, didn't realize that past lv50 there wouldn't be 1h weapons anymore. RIP.

Is that hard to just code all 1h wands, labelling them just as either WHM arms or BLM arms? The only actual difference is where the weapon sheathes, because it's used all the same. If their offhand shields need to go for this to happen, I feel it would be a fair trade off. I don't even know if most people actually remembers that the mages can equip them to begin with lol.

I know there aren't many wands in the game, but the ones closer to ARR's level cap are interesting enough.

To be honest, I feel like if unrestricted glamour were a thing that was coming in 7.0, we'd have seen it already. The next fanfest I believe will include the reveal of the full Dawntrail Trailer, Female Hrothgar most likely (seeing as the woman speaking in the teaser and who appears at the end of the most recent MSQ quest is heavily implied to be one), the new caster DPS, and the benchmark trailer. This will very likely also result in some macro-level information about combat changes--general things we could expect from Dawntrail's gameplay. I feel like the opportunity to further discuss glamour changes has passed and would've been mentioned alongside two dye slots. Though I would certainly be happy to be wrong about that in this instance. I wish they'd at least address the topic considering how much traction it has gained. I know Yoshi P was against the idea several years ago, but an update on that stance would be nice.

The wands are a super fun idea, but were completely abandoned after ARR. I fully understand them ditching shields for the wand-available casters, but not being able to glam them anymore at all really sucks.

Artifact Armor is sacred, but this set that looks indistinguishable from SAM's artifact gear is perfectly fine.

The wands are a super fun idea, but were completely abandoned after ARR. I fully understand them ditching shields for the wand-available casters, but not being able to glam them anymore at all really sucks.

Wands are also much better for those who's super bothered by the atrocious clipping that canes almost always do to our glams.
