On the topic though, it just seemed like they need more actually working, functional GM who can respond better other than just automated AI generated replies to regulate the community. Hire more of those. Not cull the healer/tanks/eventually DPSes. Small.Indie.Company.

It sounded more like the Sam was annoyed because the Smn was either panicking or running to out-distance autos and it kept interrupting his own dps, not worried about the comfort of the tank. But Idk I was too distracted by the guy sounding like the voice sample from the start of Joan Of Arc by Melvins

The game isn't very good at explaining stuff either!

Most New tanks do understand they need to use AoE to aggro(enmity) mobs..
HOWEVER - Many of them also assume 1 aoe is enough !
And after using one aoe, they continue by doing their 1-2-3 combo.

Here is why:
1) They don't understand that they need to keep hitting mobs to hold aggro(enmity).
2) They think the 1-2-3 combo is stronger than their AoE combo.

I will second this, it should be mandatory for understanding the basics. It also gives really good gear for that lvl + the exp ring! You only benefit from doing it!

The way the other guy is so defensive about it is a dead giveaway they're both grifing/trolling. There's litrally no way for a 'newbie' to be that high level, even with a lv boost.

I seen a level 66 marauder before in Bardam's Mettle. Yes they didn't have their job crystal.

Apparently, the SMN had been dying to trash over and over again before all of this. Mane's video in the post above by Sebazy seems to be in the middle of the dungeon, not the start of it. The enemy names I see are stuff like "Knight of Baron", and those are from after you use the crystal to dive into the memories, meaning after the first boss. So it appears Mane is trying to move the goalposts and pull the wool over people's eyes.

Which isn't a surprise if all the tank did was charge into a pack and then attack a single mob. Half of SMN's kit does AoE damage so of course he's going to get aggro every trash pull and inevitably die if the healer can't keep him up. What's he supposed to do, spam Ruin?

Hall of the Novice teaches you to use your AoE as a tank, granted it is not mandatory to complete when it really should be.

1) This is only true if they have both never played an MMO before and never bothered to do Hall of the Novice.
2) That requires them to never have actually read their tooltips, which is still on them.

The game definitely doesn't tell you how to do a lot of things, but this is not one of them.

SE just needs to stop enabling bad players in general. Doing things like EX/Savage with PUGs and reliably clearing them has just about vanished because these people kept jumping into them wanting to be carried.

idk, sometimes I have to laugh at these super hardcore types mocking all the carebear players in a carebear game. It's like mocking someone for watching a kids show while watching that same show everyday. You're in the same kids boat as the rest of us. Us bad players are just having a good time of it and know what we're playing.

Has nothing with being hardcore. The issue is the lazy entitled people get butthurt over not having something but instead of improving themselves to get it they do everything they can think of to try and drag everyone else down.
