the fetch quests need to STOP. they are ok in 2.0 as we are new . they are ok in 3.0 as we are new to the place we are at and non know use. they start to be annoying in 4.0 and 5.0 as we supposed to do some critical missions to save the world. at this point. why we help the locals to move boxes and such BS. its start to be unbearable and close to non playable ion 6.0 . we literally stopping wars and the apocalypse, but we then need to ones more HELP TO MOVE BOXES or GO SERVE DRINKS as apparently we need to help as well. WTF?
why make it so dragging and bad? i better have a 5h MSQ that this.
are we the HERO or an errand boy that at each point no meter how far being tolled he is need to help as well.

Have you played FFXVI? This is what the devs do, if you haven't come to grips with it by now, you might as well move on, it's not going to change.

Id argue its not the menial tasks but the questing system itself being so bland and boring compared to most other MMOs thats the main issue.

Its a positive highlight that the game is very story focused but making many of the quests be so uninvolved is just tedious.

Im pretty sure the devs play their game but I think this is more in line that they consider this approach to be "fine" and appealing to them because most people care about just going through a story than playing a game. We are the minority here :U

Quantity over quality. SE likes to boast about how many quests the MSQ has, but they pad their numbers with quests like these.

Its why I appreciate quests like "In from the Cold" the arguably most controversial EW MSQ quest due to its difficulty (its really not, its very simple) but what I loved about it was the bit of challenge and sense of urgency that helped highlight that moment in the story that really showed how good these devs could make msq quests.

and you find it GOOD ? like make all this parts side quest or something. but farce it as part of the story and all the time telling you "you need to help as well you lazy piece of shit" is not that good.

and it be OK if all of this BS was in the side quest. want to know more about the place and people? do side quest. don't want to? level up in dungeons/roulettes and move on in the story.
like its really bad in 6.0. why have all this bad trash when they can make the war vs garlemald bigger. have more that 1 "big" battle. this will make the story longer and fun.

yes, lots of them most don't have so much fetch quests this LATE in the story. played BG3 not that long ago. zelda. fallout. like in now play in 6.0 , there an active end of the world even and what we the hero do? move boxed as we need to help as well. like WTF?
