Also adding my voice, for example, the moonfire faire outfits being glamour-able for all jobs just throws this job identity stuff out the water.

Please I want that
+1 to this, I completely agree.
Did this get popular on social media or something? Seeing a ton of low post accounts all of a sudden.
Sorta, the only mention Ive seen about it outside of the forums was a tweet somebody posted that misinterpreted an upcoming transmog feature in WoW that wouldve further trumped FFXIV's glamour system and it opened up this conversation.
Im glad for it all of the less, since I want this wish to be granted
I mostly want this because of how many amazingly well designed "DoH/DoL AFs" there are each expansion and it's such a shame that they are used by no one because who choses to use up their glamour plates for their crafters instead of normal jobs?
This is something I 100% support and been wanting for years even if means excluding the jobs AF gear because it does make sense for those to be unique to them.
Yeah DoH/L AF gear feels completely wasted in a way few other gear does, not helped by the fact Korean players get to use it across Jobs (even if they have to buy it with real money which I think sucks)...
As both a dancer main and a glamour enthusiast it's really frustrating when 90%+ aiming gear seems to be designed with bard or machinist in mind. There are so many times I wish I could just glamour healing or casting gear onto my dancer.
People have been asking for this for years.
I've supported this before, but I don't mind doing it again. I see no reason for this not to be a part of the game. It is 100% lore friendly, it fits the theme since we can glam beachwear, pajamas, and whatever else, and we already have gear that looks like it belongs to different roles. Gear locks in FF14 make zero sense.
Especially when the devs continuously write in NPCs whos outfits so blatantly mix-match role gear in ways so obvious, I'm starting to think it's done on purpose.People have been asking for this for years.
