Please stop hiding miqo'te ears (and other races') from certain head gear

Miqo'te ears very visibly stick out. I've seen and heard complaints of elezen/lalafell having their ears hidden but that is far and few between.

I've come across a few examples on my Elezen of hoods not being adjusted for ears compared to the Hyur version, and it does look not quite right (though he has relatively short ears so it doesn't look too bad), but more often I encounter the opposite problem: HUGE ear covers that stick out far beyond what is necessary, or odder things like the Late Allagan healer cap putting big outward spikes on the headphones, where the simpler solution would have been to keep them flat against the head but as teardrop shapes instead of circles.

I assume the ear covers are sized to fit 100-length ears, but maybe if I had an Elezen with ears like that, I'd find that they still fit as badly as the mispositioned Miqo'te ears.

The really ideal approach would be to just have the whole hood drape out a bit further over the ears, and have it connected to the ear length slider so it suits the individual character.

I consider the ear covers to be a case-by-case thing. Fashion hats are generally better off just having holes so the ears can show; hats for protection (eg. helmets or cold-weather hats) need to not leave the ears exposed.

i support this. I love when my catboy does ear wiggles! I chose miqo'te because I love the tail and ears so I have no desire to hide them :3

Just proves that you can't make everyone happy.
Some have to take the hit to make others satisfied.
This same thing can be said about races with a tail and all the capes they clip through.
If a game have races with certain features one would think they would take them into consideration when making new items for all to wear.

Things like hoods should have them poking through. Things that make physical sense or have a specific purpose (eg the mascot outfits) can hide them. Things that are meant to be warm/comfy/etc. can have the little ear pockets.

Basically, SE needs to stop being lazy and think about it.

There's a really stunning example to me: There's a straw hat you can get that's an ARR item. It has ear holes and the ears poke through. In ShB, we got a different straw hat from Moonfire that cut them off and looks bizarre. This item is also now something they expect people to pay money for on the cash shop.

The ARR one was legitimately better designed. I'm not sure why quality is going down on these things.

Hopefully with the graphical update, viera and hrothgar will finally get to use all helmets as they revise them.

And hopefully they take this feedback into account so that our ears are not eliminated from every headpiece that covers the head. They have to fix both the existing pieces as well as any future aditions.
