Alright Balmung. We came. We merged. What next?

Well, the merge day celebration was a ton of fun, but that's over now. However, that doesn't need to be the end of fun server-wide events. I think it'd be fun to have them monthly or bi-monthly so that we all have a chance to come together and enjoy the game and our community.

So, my question to all you lovely folks is: What next? What sort of events are people interested in seeing done? I present you with this thread so we can come up with some awesome ideas!

I know there were a couple events left over from the merge day that people came up with:

A longer Node-Hunting expedition (instead of two hours, maybe a full node hunt- gotta get em' all!)

A longer NM hunt and/or Storming the Strongholds where we could alternate claims to make sure people get achievements.

And a couple of the other servers had some cool ideas too- a riddle based treasure-hunt/race to find a player in hiding, or competitively taking on the Strongholds (or even instanced fights?) to see what teams could do it quickest.

Anyway. I am up for ideas. What are people interested in doing?

EDIT: Current plan. For the weekend of May 26th- 27th, we'll be having two events. There will be a longer node hunting expedition, in which we can try for ALL the nodes (day event in and of itself) and the next day there will be an extended NM hunt, in which we'll alternate claims for the kill.

I say we storm the imperial stronghold after 1.22 with the intention of getting everyone there the NM kill. I've run this type of event before and can help.

When we did this on fabul we did it for all 3 current strongholds. I had one of my linkshell members as party leaders for each pt and we were on voice chat. Alternating claim was cake, on that run. Every other time I've been a participant in such an event, claiming was pure chaos.

I was looking at mid-May for the next event, as that should A) give us time to adapt to the new content released in 1.22 and B) the college kids like myself should be done with finals by then (cuz the next few weeks are going to be pretty busy for a lot of people). So, here is your ample notification- I generally start things about a month in advance.

Molly- I really like the idea of the imperial stronghold, especially as it will give us the chance to play with new content.
