    Dataminers found an emote that has no known way to unlock it, that tends to mean an event they've not yet announced. Though sometimes it goes right to the mogstation instead.

    Where's Halloween, Ive been waiting for it. They better not put the emote in the cash shop, I see that they are having maintenance on the mogstation tonight. I hope it doesn't pop-up in there, I swear SE, I SWEAR.

    They always do mogstation maintenance, right before an event, to make the prior year's items available, as well as a general sale on event stuff. Still, it would be nice to have an actual news announcement.

    Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
    Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
    Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

    I'm sure we'll get something from the event in game. They will most likely be putting the rewards from last year's event on the cash shop.

    they will probably announce tomorrow, the day after they put last years stuff in the shop.
