What is your favorite minion

My koala Joey is my absolute favorite. Mine was a gift from a dear friend and I just love it to bits.

Now I am working on getting it for all my alts.

I'd have to say my little Road Sparrow buddy - may not be unusual, rare or difficult to obtain but that's okay - doesn't need to be any of those things - he's cute and that's enough

Hm that's a tough thing to say since there's so many good ones.

I'm biased towards the gaelicat and the weatherproof one, or the fat cat, or Tora-jiro... I'm a cat person after all. But then the puppers are adorable too, like Chewy or Black Hayate.

When I first found out some minions stand on my head, I instantly loved those too, specially the Koala Joey, so cute when it starts dozing off.

Even the wind ups have a few I really like, my favorite being the Wind-up Kefka, and a minion like Nosferatu is just the best.

But if I have to pick...



I mean, I just feel that gaze, the judgement, the boredom... the Sand Fox is perfection.

Little Middy (Midgardsormr) will always be my favorite.

Besides him, I love Caduceus, baby Chocobos, Gaelikitten, Wind-up Magnai, and Wind-up Susano.

Some of the new minions are pretty cute, but I haven't started grinding for them yet.

Lately my favourite minon is the Wind-up Aeris Aerith. I'm a huge FFVII fangirl and Aerith is my favourite FF heroine.

(If anyone asks she's really a lalafell flowergirl who hired Enki for protection from Ul'dahn loansharks and now won't leave her alone..

I haven't seen wind up aerith before. ah, looked it up. It's a cash shop item. might be part of why (maybe not a lot of people look at the minion section much). It has a very nice model. Never played 7 before though.

It is. I've only seen him once during maps too(I didn't get the roll). I'm not dedicated enough to dump 20 million gil for it at the moment, but hopefully next expansion.

he is quite pricey! I really want the one that goes with him too. Well- when my alt reaches Endwalker.

Nutkin, Fat Cat, Red Panda, Axolotl Eft, any of the cute little animal ones really.

I also like to have a little flying something follow me around, like Morpho, Pixie, Sylph, etc. I finally got Starbird recently so that will probably be out for a while.

Special mentions go to Ugly Duckling and Allagan Melon as well.

the sylph minion is sooo cute! I have both and just haven't gotten the chance to summon it yet because the ugly duckling takes priority for me.
I once saw someone use the allagan melon in a physical gag with that one emote that launches your character in the ground before they proceed to punch it with get intensity.

Shalloweye, especially if you're a lalafell.

oh, I fought the shalloweyes frequently for crafting but never knew how to get the minion. Maybe I should look into that-
They do great with the dog models, so cute! I heard of Gestahl but never seen it in game before. Looking it up it seems to be a retainer venture type of item. I should really start leveling my retainers. Alas, I can never make up my mind on what either of my two retainers should specialize in...

Tiny troll for ground. Bat from p4 for flying.

I have seen the bat and it sure has style! I have it on my main I think. The troll is cute- though curious what my chances are of obtaining it once I get to that point and then doing daily runs of that dungeon.

Wind-up Shinryu because it's the closest thing we have to a Zenos minion.

I think I gaslit myself into thinking wind up zenos already exists... but nope.

That birb is great- I buy it on the market board whenever I don't have it (which should be twice? Unless I forgot to buy it on this alt...)
I once tried going to star bird... the grinding nearly ruined the dungeon for me so I had to stop.

it's great that we get a free baby dragon :3 though, if ya get enough reputation with the moogles you can buy more of the baby dragon minions! At least 2.

I know and I love those foxes, each time I see a photo of one of them, I feel they're staring at some critter and thinking "Ugh, Greg is back at it, huh?"

As to how to get it, with faux leaves, but those are pretty tough to get, so I went for the other option... paying 5m for it...
