If you want iLvl sync enforced, then be there when the content comes out.
You weren't.. so you missed out. Sorry about that.
If so many people are clamoring to run old content with iLvl sync on and no echo then your Party Finder search with iLvl sync on and no echo will fill up instantly. Faster than the Duty Finder.
But guess what? That's not what happens.. You gotta wait. And wait. What do you think that means? How does that compute in your brain?
What it means is that not many people actually want that. Or that they simply don't care. They're happy to help you progress through the story or they want their tomes and they want to get on with their day. On their terms, not yours.![]()
When you deal with human beings, never count on logic or consistency.
Fluid like water. Smooth like silk. Pepperoni like pizza.
I've always said making things easier for new players would bore them to death, but SE believed the opposite.
I just saw this and I felt it fits because we are ALL overtuned for pretty much everything.

I did Heroes' Gauntlet and the more egregious example of Pagl'than on release with Tomestone gear (not raid gear, TOMESTONE GEAR augmented) and they both hit like a wet noodle.
And I'm pretty sure I could gear up my AST and GNB with the current Comedy tomes (or even just Casualty) gear for 6.5 and its new dungeon and get the same response because the dungeon isn't tuned for such high ilvls.
We aren't even asking for min ilvl. We're asking for a tighter sync than what we're given so that those of us who've well out geared the content (some times ON RELEASE) can enjoy it too.
I'm tired of being told to wait for post-patches and expansions for fixes and increased healing requirements that are never coming. Healers are not fun in all forms of content like all jobs should be, they're replaced by tanks and dps due to low healing requirements and their dps kit is small for 0 reason, when in the past we had more options and handled things just fine. I refuse to play healer in roulette come DT. I refuse to heal EXs, I refuse to go into Savage, and I am boycotting Ultimate.

Prime (heh) example right here ladies and gents.

Side note, you can still find people trying to form statics for running older content synced. I'm literally in a static for running min ilvl no echo coils savage lol.

I still remember Chrysalis when it first came out. It took me a good week of casual playtime to clear it, not even taking into consideration how long the Odin fight took. I understand that people want to progress fast, but right now you can go into every encounter undergeared and get carried through MSQ.
It sure isn't easy to balance that, as Square wants those subs at high enough numbers.

SE seems to want to create content that's really easy, and they just assume anyone that wants harder will do Savage or Ultimate. I see several issues with current game design. The biggest being ilevel sync. They know this is an issue, because they're fixing Crystal Tower raids next patch so you can't cheese your ilvl to get it more often. Gear has just increased way too fast in comparison to how difficult the content is, and it massively shows. And there seems to be less ideas on how to create fresh content. Look at the final boss of Euphrosyne - almost an entire encounter of nothing but half room cleaves. Both EW Alliance raids are just way way too easy with the gear we have. Plus I think they're way too scripted. The 2nd boss of Aglaia is so predictable, people move to where an attack is going to happen 30 seconds before the telegraph even appears. Why can't they create less scripted content? It's not that hard to make mechanics random, so you have to be more alert. Even the 6.4 trial is really easy. You may die or screw up your first time, but the mechanics are very simple.
There seem to be some really simple fixes to improve enjoyment of these fights. Shrink ilvl sync so you have to do encounters at the level of gear they were created for originally and/or increase boss hp so all their mechanics show up before the boss is dead (i.e. final Aglaia fight). Also make attacks actually hurt more. I usually run most trials/raids as a tank, and I can basically stand in anything and barely take damage. Even so-called Tank busters barely hurt with a little mitigation. And yet look at the final fight of Dun Scaith - those tank busters still freakin hurt and tanks easily get killed.
Make mechanics less scripted. If people can move to where an attack is going to happen 30 seconds before the telegraph even appears, it's too scripted. Create actually interesting mechanics. An entire fight of half room cleaves is not fun or creative. It's boring. This may be a bad example since the fight was still fairly easy, but the Dark Inside had some interesting mechanics - that rotating floor stills trips people up constantly.
I realize a lot of people aren't very good at gaming or don't want a challenge, but not all players want to deal with the complexity, research, and coordination it takes to do Ultimates while still wanting challenging regular content. We need more Dun Scaith/original Orbonne Monastery, and less Aglaia/Euphrosyne level content.
