It's still disappointing when people assume you're a fan of Zepla or other content creators, even if you don't watch any of their content, simply because you share an opinion about the decline of a video game you care about.
Expressing this feeling of the game's degradation is crucial; it may not bring about significant change, but there's a chance that the issues will be acknowledged and addressed.
We should not adopt an ostrich policy when it comes to managing a game; it's necessary to voice concerns, whether or not we share the same opinion.
Claiming that a game is perfect is misleading because no game is flawless, but it's natural to hope for a return to the quality that the game had lost in the Endwalker content.
If you enjoy the game in its current state, that's great for you,
however, don't prevent others from having a different opinion about the game.
Besides, what does it change for you? Even if we assume they listen to negative but constructive feedback and we get higher-quality patches, wouldn't you also benefit from that scenario?.
It's not quite as simplistic as that and I think relic content is a good place to illustrate that. Some people very dearly wish for the giant checklist style of relic to return, voiced in critical feedback over endwalker's relic approach. If they follow that feedback, does that make the game better? For that want this style of relic, yes. I prefer Endwalker's relic approach over the checklist stuff so for me it would make the game worse in that aspect.
This is tricky. If people think the game is perfect now, then they most likely don't want any changes at all so they attack the criticism thinking devs will listen. It's their way of arguing in defense for fear of change. To them, the game right now is higher quality. So if the devs do listen to criticism then they would flip sides of the fence arguing the game went downhill. What is higher quality for you is lower quality to them, subjectively. What it changes for them is that they don't want change. It's that simple. If you enjoy the game in its current state, that's great for you,

I mean, we already had tomestone gear if you prefer EW's relics. °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°It's not quite as simplistic as that and I think relic content is a good place to illustrate that. Dont' get me wrong, I haven't completed any of the past relic quests due to them feeling like boring grinds to me but even I can see the flaws in making EW's relics just a second, lower effort tomestone grind. ( ಠωಠ)
Yea and if you want a checklist to go through you can make one yourself (have someone make one for you). This is a silly point. I like how relics look, that's why I go for them. Whenever they make very pretty tomeweapon I go for it aswell. Relics are boring grinds because they are designed to be just that. That's why I prefer the one that has the least grind to it.I mean, we already had tomestone gear if you prefer EW's relics. °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°

Will put you on ignore if you can't form a logical argument but argue nonetheless
The fact that relic weapons are easily obtainable is not really the issue (too much farming is not necessarily suitable), but there are certainly less unpleasant ways than with 1500 tomestones. The exploration and grind content doesn't necessarily need to be directly related to the relic, but one should be able to farm it as one of the possible steps, as long as this content provides diverse rewards for those who enjoy grind PvE exploration content. Bozja attempted to implement this concept, but it was poorly executed because some steps forced players to return to Bozja. It's not quite as simplistic as that and I think relic content is a good place to illustrate that. Of course, when I mention degradation, I'm not necessarily nitpicking about this type of content like relic weapons.
I'm generally referring to the changes that Endwalker has brought, such as jobs, difficulty, raids, etc. The patches are much poorer in terms of content and longevity compared to before,
mechanically, it's also too much easier for the casual content.
However, it's essential to emphasize the complete absence of PvE content that provides long-term engagement for players who like to farm during the 4.5 months of waiting time between major patches.
Is that really an argument? (º﹃º )Yea and if you want a checklist to go through you can make one yourself (have someone make one for you). This is a silly point. Of course most people are going to take the path-of-least-resistance and relics should have other options to grind outside of exploratory areas but that doesn't mean the dev team shouldn't at least try to make relics actual content versus the current slapped on method. (ノ´ヮ´)ノ*:・゚✧
And I personally don't like how most of EW's relics look, there's no theme to them. When I saw the first tier of them, I had to double check that they weren't just reusing old models. (*≧▽≦)ノシ))
