[suggestion] Make the shop glams account wide.

After several years, I made a new character for reasons that don't matter here.

The only thing I'm slightly annoyed by is the fact I have no access to the glams I already paid for. I feel like asking me to repay for things I already paid for because "it's another character" is some kind of bad excuse. Especially for outfits that cost 17.50€. I can understand story skips and marriages thingies to be character locked, but for outfits (and mounts) it should be account wide.

At worse, could we have some kind of discount for articles we already paid for. The historic of purschased is saved, so it should be possible. Paying something like 3.5€ (the price of cheaper glams) for something you already paid for once is something I would at least consider.

I have no idea how common it is for players to buy the same glams for several characters, so if you have any info on that, I'm curious.

The idea is good, but you have whales paying for glams on multiple alts, so they really dont have a reason to do it really, they're making bank out of these people

No chance it will ever happen, sadly. It's absolutely my biggest peeve. But, FFXIV respects our time! Except, god forbid, you create an alt - unless you pay extra for only certain mounts, nothing in the store is account wide. You're achievements aren't account wide. So, sorry, you need to go through and rez another 500 times in Bozja, to use that favorite title on your other characters. Or, how about shared FATE system. Nah, too bad, you gotta do another 600+ FATEs to unlock. Hmmm very respectful of our time, yes.

Even if they wanted to say, keep it locked till you reached that story progression, let us use what we have unlocked/purchased across any alt on a service account.

It's a great idea but it'll probably never happen. That's way too big of an opportunity to make money for Yoshi P and SE to pass up.

No, the most annoying thing is that glamours are all seperated by gender and no way to exchange them (except the snow/lightning outfit). Started as a catboy, bought a mog glam (that is not the snow/lightning outfit) and then decided to play female characters? Enjoy buying all the stuff again!

One sign that it is perhaps true is that they seem to be cutting back on the account-wide-ness of things like the minions you get for purchasing merchandise.

I would like all kinds of glams, minions, mounts, etc., such as those earned through seasonal events, to be unlocked account wide for this very same reason. There's stuff on the cash shop now that I no longer have access to, even though I did earn them at the time they were available.
