I would have killed for a feature like this in XI. lol Bring it, SE!~
There is nothing wrong with a content finder. The problems only begin when players are able to teleport instantly to any content from anywhere in the world via Content Finder.Hmm... wait, what's wrong with the Content Finder? If you wanna do a dungeon and don't have enough people on your server ask for somebody else and they'll come aiding, also knowing other people is fun if you ask me!
Also I believe only dungeons is lame, so I espect some open world content, that's kickass~
I agree with you. To some however, it is more exciting than that of instanced material. But again, this is just a difference of opinions between players.Well time is nothing really, I can log on at any time and enter an instance. (unless it has certain lock outs, which I am all for)
Place, the difference between spawning in X23:Y34 and X24:Y34 isn't much to get excited over either :P
Other people watching hmm isn't that just wanting to show off, elitist nonscence ?
Help well I already mentioned the problem with this.
You know, I am actually not sure. I will just say half. Even then that still puts FFXI at 180ish NM's after 2 years (Open World). You do have a point , but how many of those were instanced/BCNM, how many were quest/BCNM ? how many were low level ?
Can't argue that.I am willing to bet that if FFXIV had launched in a decent state we would have much more content and NM's at this point, but It didn't work out like that so comparisons are completely off the wall in any case.
In all honesty man, I don't even expect 1/3 of our suggestions be listed to by the Dev's, let alone implemented into FFXIV.It's totally cool, I appreciate that you have fond memroies of FF11, I do too, I mentioned WoW enough when I compare to other MMO's because I spent 4 years playing that game, so can understand why you use 11 as your example
Of course there is a difference between you guys wanting a couple of things in the game and wanting it all, but where do you guys plan to stop ?
As I have said I am just happy to let Yoshi-p do what he wants if the game starts to take a form that I don't like I will quit and play something else, I won't ask him to change it into something its not.
I just continue the fight, because these are aspects of MMO's that I would love to see put into this game. I wouldn't necessarily say I want it all, because I know that half of what we are putting out there will never make it past the drawing board. But I keep on cranking out suggestions (I'm guilty, most are from XI/WoW), in the faint hope that maybe enough people will support it, and possibly get developer attention.
I respect the fact that many players out there do not share my interests, and that there will always be arguments based on said interests. Even more, I respect the people of your nature who can argue these opinions in a constructive manner.
And for your last statement, I also completely agree. While I may toss our suggestions of what I like, I do not want to stop Yoshi from making his vision into a game. I will most likely play regardless. But during these trying times, where the dev's are paying a little attention to the ideas of the playerbase, I will continue to offer what little that I can![]()

If it doesn't affect me in a negative way then it should not be touched, If I dont like it then it should be changed regardless of who does like it.
There ya go folks summed up just about every post made by Rokien for ya
Can't say I disagree on what ya said ^.^I agree with you. To some however, it is more exciting than that of instanced material. But again, this is just a difference of opinions between players.

I've said many times that i will be playing in 2.0 unless "game breaker" things happen. Most of the time I fight for the little things. If I don't voice my opinion no one else who agrees with me will voice theirs or very little if any. I don't get why you guys are hating on me for that, I respect all your guys reasoning and I understand why you want them in the game, though I get the feeling I don't get that same respect back.
Ok guys remember those games FF1-10, when you used to walk a few feet and get sucked into a instance to battle some random invisible monsters.
I just thought I should point out that instances have been in Final Fantasy for a very long time![]()
lol jinko ; ;
In a sense they were purely single player games, so the entire game was instanced lol.
I got a chuckle out of your post though. Touche good sir lol

And there's a reason I dont play those games and play MMOs instead.
