To be fair, I would prefer if they just decoupled the pixie from Scholar altogether. It doesn't fit a military tactician. I would much rather if they made a nature-themed healer and gave that pixie to them. The more sensible option is deleting seraph. Isn’t expedient the butterfly one?
Eos and Selene are both halves of lily, which is the entity/construct attached to the scholar job stone in the same way that violet is the one attached to that other tonberry.
The theming of scholar (military tactician, order) is entirely opposite to the chaotic capriciousness of the first’s fae. The king thing isn’t even their culture, but warped playtime emulating the vöburt people. Not to mention the monstrous strength that’s seemingly attached to the king role - one of the quests in amaro village says that the damage to the mountains north of the playable area were a result of the lightwarden (agape?) being beaten up by titania.
The debt issue is also something that is difficult to ignore given the way other requests have been fulfilled in word but not spirit. The impression I’ve always had is that the whole sapling thing is closer to a favourite toy in the hands of a toddler or a reversed Peter Pan/tinkerbell situation.
