More good glams and emotes on the shop

So are we gonna have another thread where the whales and mogstation defenders throw around the tired old argument of "noooooo you don't have to buy it!!!! it's oPtIoNaL!!!" or can we all finally agree that this is a problem?

if it was remotely usable or fashionable, sure, I would completely defend the fact thats its optional and you dont have to buy it.

but personally, I think its not worth my money... so wont bother. if people want it they can buy it. I am just happy that a piece like that is not given as an in game reward for something, then you would have a point that its a problem.

Just to throw my 2 gil in, I really like the outfit overall but the way the headphones work on everyone but lalafels is absurd. Totally phoned in. I think this whole glam is an $8 to $10 item tops. I don't have a problem with cash shop items on principle like some do, I just disagree with the pricing and have issues with the quality sometimes. I will not be buying this unless it goes on like a $5 sale in year or two. I also believe items such as these should be obtainable in game, eventually if not immediately. Honestly though, if someone gifted me this for free I wouldn't wear it most likely.

Hmm, I dont mind the headphones at all for us Lala, I just think that they did this by design. For those who have played Persona 4 Dancing All Night, they had all of the protags headphones in different styles. Maybe they will fixed it but its cool for me.

I know there's supposedly an in-game event coming for the 10th Anniversary, but I wish they talked more about that before releasing a "10th Anniversary shop items/sale" as if that's not something they do every other month. Just leaves a bad taste in the mouth to have a big celebration where so far the only way to partake is through expensive irl events or buying items on the shop.

Well at least we just got informed recently that we'll be able to put optional items into the armoire. So even if someone just wanted one or two parts of that outfit they could wait till then if they didn't have the money and/or the inventory space currently to buy it when we'll be able to do so. Never stop being the same Mog Shop dislikers. You shouldn't be so surprised when it comes to a lot of the non seasonal stuff as to why most of the items go straight into the Mog Station. Besides the money side of it all. I'm sure someone or a few someones have already yet again explained where at least the emote came from and why it didn't get slipped into some in game shop inventory. Now I do agree that the headphones do look a bit odd if not horrendous on most races. I'm just not sure how you'd go about making a single asset like that look "ok" on most races. Unless you had them tilt upwards. Au Ra would still probably look bad though. And yes they do hear via vibrations through their horns. I still try not to think about anything realistic they'd have to do and how that must feel in order to wear the earrings in the game.

Honestly if they looked gross on some races should have just had them be a head item but have the headphone around the neck. I feel bad for Au Ra and the lack of Miqo examples makes me nervous too. I like the overall design of the outfit but the headphones just make me want to wait for a sale.

I waited for this korean set to come to the mogstation and I am just happy that its finally there. Even as an Aura. Yes, it does not fit so well with the horns/ears, but common!?
How should they have solved this? Making a complete different headpiece just for 1 race is no option. I like it and it's still a nice decoration. I also try to imagine that the vibration touches the horns and so she can hear the music. : 3
